To make all Samsung devices even better and more of a productive smartphone I believe with new ONE UI Samsung should add off screen gestures that is on OnePlus devices. Such as drawing a V when the screen is off will turn on the flashlight etc etc. This would be a much loved feature and I believe it would make one UI amazing! As I moved from OnePlus and miss this feature

Action Launcher has a feature where folders will have a one tap app cover for your favorite app of each folder. Example: Pictures below show my multimedia folder with YouTube as my one tap open. Swiping down shows the rest of the folder

Please remove the arrow that comes with the back gesture or at least give us the option to remove it like with the hints when One UI first came. It's an eyesore

On the OneUi home screen the new gesture bar dissapears and there is no animation when swiping up to see open apps. It would be great to see the animation like when swiping up in an open app, as I'm unaware of the gesture is working until I get to centre screen when the task view opens

I like being able to use back gestures to navigate my device while using my S Pen, but when using the notes app and starting my note taking on the left hand of the screen, it's very hard to write there because the device wants to use the back gesture.
I'd like to suggest adding a Samsung Notes specific toggle to disable the S Pen back gesture while note taking / editing a note with the S Pen within the app. This would take precedence over the system wide allowance of the S Pen for gestures and would allow us to use the S Pen for gestures, but when note taking, have it disabled so we can actually take notes reasonably and not struggle the entire time.

In the new android 10 gesture to go back where we swipe from the side of the screens, it would be great if there was an option to choose from which side we want the gesture on (left only / right only / both sides) along with the height at which this gesture works on the sides making it easier to use the side menus within most apps.

I just got the beta 3 update and I noticed that there are new gesture. They feel really cluttered and it kind of just disappears suddenly unlike on the beta 1. I would appreciate if Samsung would return to the first beta gesture animations as they were much more smoother.

The new downward swipe for one-handed mode does not work effectively - it just makes the screen sroll.

Fast Multitasking was available when using on screen buttons in Android 9. With Android 10 beta and the new One UI, fast multitasking is not longer working with on screen buttons. Please bring it back. *edit: for those that don't know what feature I mean, you could swipe left/right from the home icon to quickly scroll between open apps - quicker way of tapping to multitask icon and scrolling through the apps.

Dear Samsung, Please add 3 finger swipe gesture for screenshot. It's well implemented in competition and existing option of palm swipe is not quite as convient as 3 finger swipe down. Please check both gestures side by side & then do a survey and decide. I'm certain that users will always prefer 3 finger gesture instead of palm swipe from left.

If double Tap to wake is a thing, why do we not have double Tap to Lock on one UI 1 and/or 2? Or is it just me who doesn't know where it is! @TomaszT

This isn't a suggestion at all but I just wanted to show my appreciation for the incredible suggestions that everyone has submitted so far! It's amazing that every year Samsung gives the opportunity to make suggestions directly to the teams that create the software that we all love and use everyday. Every suggestion both big and small will help Samsung improve One Ui for us all. Great job everyone! 👏

Now that you can swipe between your open /recent apps can we have the app switcher show the current open app by default when you swipe up. Instead of jumping to the last app that was opened

Split screening I feel has become a long winded process. Looking at how Good Lock does it, the ability to drag an app to the bottom or top in the app switcher is a much smoother experience

I think the navigation gesture bar should be over an app for example a bit like iphone. As the bar sits at the bottom that area of the screen is unusable but every app just blocks out that section so it looks like the screen to body ratio is slightly smaller

With android 10 we now have the facility to interact with the UI more based out of gestures. But this still needs to be integrated more into everywhere. While in the recent apps screen, we nw have 2 portions, one where the last open apps are displayed and the other where we have some app suggestions at the bottom. What we do not have here is a "DRAG AND DROP" amongst these 2 sections which allows us to open apps in split screen just by dragging one to the top half and another one to the bottom half. This way taps are reduced and gestures are more intensified, thus making interactions smoother and likeable. Hope this makes it to the final version release during January 2020. 😊 @TomaszT

Please bring back the swapping between apps by using the Gesture. In previous beta if you would swipe at the middle of the bottom to left or right apps used swap between apps those which apps were in the recent apps menu

This was such a useful feature on the S8. It enabled the navigation bar to be fully hidden when pressed so it would only show with a swipe up and could lock the navbar in place (the only option we have now aside from full gestures). For some reason, it was removed in the Android 9 update and hasn't returned since.

split keyboard is so usefull but it takes most of phone screen. I suggest this design. It's easier to use and take less space. The keyboard need to redesign and characters should reorder. After that you can type much faster than normal split keyboard

Samsung tab's current palm-rejection algorithm doesn't fit my habits at all. When the palm of my right hand touched the screen, my left hand couldn't do anything. It is a hindrance to my painting. I wish the Samsung screen could recognize my palm and stop the palm‘s typing, like the iPad does. Not just cancel all physical input
