This mainly focuses on "Swipe from bottom and sides" in Navigation Bar -> Swipe Gestures. First suggestion is to allow for customizable thicknesses of each individual gesture area, instead of treating both bottom and sides as one thickness, have three separate thicknesses for left, right, and bottom gestures. This can help when you want thinner side gestures, but a thicker bottom gesture. Also preferably a slider as opposed to only 4 possible thickness levels. Second suggestion is to allow for customizable gesture areas, similar to how the user can decided where the Edge Panel is located, along with its thickness and length. This could be disabled or enabled as the user pleases, and can help with interference between the gestures and the applications. Third suggestion is to disallow gesture priority, also can be per side/bottom. Sometimes an app has interference with the gestures, and as the gesture takes priority, trying to access the edge of the app becomes impossible. An example of this is trying to crop an image/video with a gesture thickness bigger than the smallest option. Lastly, one bug encountered is when holding to swipe into the App Drawer while on YouTube, the Picture-In-Picture mode does not activate. It only activates if the user swipes to Home. Meanwhile, PIP mode activates just fine with "Swipe from bottom" mode or with "Buttons" mode. it is just an annoyance but should be fixable.

I know this is probably the most requested "feature" but after my experience with the one ui 4.1 i really have only 1 complaint, the animations. They are pretty good when they work but say if i am playing a game and i am closing it the phone just makes the animations look like a 2005 phone (not my problem, i have an S21 and it really feels like a budget phone this times). And the animations are pretty bad even when just switching between apps and stuff. This is really the only thing that would make the samsung experience a lot better.

I am former Hua*ei user. I found the Navigation Dock from their UI very useful, especially now that I am using S22 Ultra with so much bigger screen.

Dear samsung, I thought of an idea for the S-pen for future samsung phones, which is implementing touch commands on the S-pen to zoom in the camera by wiping forward on the touch place on the S-pen and zoom out the camera when wiping backwards on the touch place on the S-pen. I hope this could be a useful idea to be considered on the future phones. Best regards, Omar Nashed

The idea is to have a non invasive notification show up on screen while playing in order to have an idea of what your device is telling you. How I imagine it is to show on screen the color effect that surrounds your phone screen when a notification shows up.

In the beta Binary 1, for switching between recent apps, there was this facility where we could swipe sideways at the bottom edge of the display to smoothly transition between various opened apps. Ever since there were updates this feature has been unavailable when the gesture hints turned off. I just noticed that when the gesture hints are turned on and I swipe sideways on the navigation pill, the smooth transition is available. But when I do the same with the gesture hints turned off, it is unavailable. Why is there a mismatch of functionality between these two options? @TomaszT I believe users may already have reported this. But we loved the transition with the gesture hints off. Hope we get this back soon.

Maybe this is to accommodate the new swipe gesture but now I'm having to do like 2 or 3 attempts to launch the side edge panel (I use a it daily.) Or I end up swiping back because the back gestures are activated above and below the edge handler so now its been shortened but the choice on the bar for the handler to select the long to short Doesn't much its like short or even shorter. I need to set it really accurately to get the edge panel to activate or I end up swiping back 🥺

When the gestures are enabled with vibration means that when you swipe up for the opened apps and there is a little vibration, this should mean that the apps will show which are previously opened. With this new update, when the vibration takes place it doesn't show the opened apps rather the swipe gesture has to be kept to that position longer than the first beta roll out. This issue needs to be sorted out. Secondly, when an app is opened for example galaxy store and if you'd like to move onto the other apps, you could swipe left of right to switch ever so quickly and this was one of the best gestures. Again, with this new update this feature has now disappeared and it is sad to see it go. This feature shouldn't have been removed and should be brought back asap. Also, this is for the camera suggestion, cab samsung make all the cameras of the galaxy s11 have consistent colour accuracy across all lens. This will make all the videos and photos look better and make it better especially for video to be better than iPhone colour consistency across their cameras. Thanks for reading this post suggestion.

I think the navigation gestures are a great addition, but the navigation on iPhone is a lot lot smoother (doesn't stutter, jump, feels more natural). So this could do with some refining For example, when you hold and swipe up ever so slightly (like in the image attached) and let go on here it immediately and violently jumps to the app switcher. On iPhone the app falls back to full screen which feels more natural.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e's feature of using the home button/fingerprint scanner to access the notifications is a brilliant idea. Sadly the S10 has no such easy access to the panel. What if a gesture was added to the home screen to easily access the notifications panel. For example, instead of swiping down to bring up the menu, you could have the option of swiping up or down to bring out the notifications panel. Just a feature I thought the S10 was missing. Specially with the huge screen.

It would be worth adding selection options so that the gesture backwards works when the keyboard is extended - for people who normally type on the keyboard, and that it can be made inactive for people who type using swyping. Now with the keyboard extended, you need to unnaturally move your thumb above it to perform a backward gesture, while closing the keyboard via the "keyboard hide bar" that you can turn on in the settings seems to spoil the visual reception of the overlay, which many users have complained about in this forum.

One the new one ui gesture, we swipe up and hold, when you flick through open apps it's a bit jittery. Needs to be smooth. Also to get rid of the app we swipe up, can we also be able to swipe down to get rid of the app, also make the transition a bit smoother.

Would be brilliant if you could access recent apps on home screen menu by swiping up and holding. Currently on home screen, you cannot access recent apps with gestures.

I'm not liking the new app switcher movement. As you swipe an app away vertically, you are now able to move that app preview freely anywhere across the screen. Why? There is absolutely no use for this at all. Please return to the limited vertical movement as it was before which kept the app preview perfectly centred as it is being swiped away. Seems like a small change but this is the kind of thing that would make One Ui feel more polished and complete. Thanks!

Can we add a gesture to swipe down the edge bar to pull out the notification bar. Right now we only have swipe down from home screen (not the edge bar) for the notifications panel. Adding such a feature could improve the one handed use especially while in an app like Instagram or Facebook or YouTube where I do not have to stretch my hands or use the other hand to just pull down the notification panel. Guys pls do give a thumbs up if u really want this idea to be implemented. The more the likes the more chances of this feature being added on to the official release. #PeaceOut ✌🏼
