Edge Bar for Notification Panel

Can we add a gesture to swipe down the edge bar to pull out the notification bar. 

Right now we only have swipe down from home screen (not the edge bar) for the notifications panel. 

Adding such a feature could improve the one handed use especially while in an app like Instagram or Facebook or YouTube where I do not have to stretch my hands or use the other hand to just pull down the notification panel.

Guys pls do give a thumbs up if u really want this idea to be implemented. The more the likes the more chances of this feature being added on to the official release.

It's a great feature to have!

I remember using the fingerprint sensor for that on previous models and it was really helpful.
