The icon packs on the Galaxy Theme store only cover limited apps so looks odd with only a few icons themed. It would be great to enable users to apply custom icon packs from the play store.

This option will allow users to move text or handwriting up or down, without selecting it, but just taping at an empty space between for example two paragraphs. For exaple, you have fifteen big paragraphs of handwriting and you want to write another one between paragraphs no. 9 and 10. You can't select five paragraphs, so you'll tap at the empty space between the 10th and 11th paragraph, select the "add space" option and you'll move the 11th and other paragraphs all together as low as you want. This option is alread available at Nebo app.

Why not introduce the ability to uninstall some of the pre installed apps such as Facebook, my files, and the Microsoft stuff we have bundled in the UK. Also the ability to uninstall Bixby if we want to and make downloads available for the people that may want to reinstall them. I would be happier removing a lot of the stuff I don't use (I haven't used my files on any of the Samsung phones I've had over the years)..

Hi this idea would make my life and other users a lot easier in terms of setting alarms better.
I work full-time and my work times start vary and change everyday for each week. I am a heavy sleeper so have to have multiple alarms (like 5 alarms all in inciments of 15 or 20 minutes apart) so that I can stucture waking up etc. I feel if there was a option to group alarms and able to name the group so say my 9am shifts can have my 5 set of alarms for that work day. And my 1pm shifts can have 5 set of alarms, so I can be more organised in that the alarms set are for that work day. I honestly think this will improve a lot from how it is currently.

First suggestion is about how specific Ifs don't have a "When Rotuine Ends" feature. I have created a Routines that sets the volume to max if specific people call me, as I prefer to keep my phone muted or on vibrate unless it's important. The routine works great, aside from the fact that once the call has ended, the volume doesn't go back to its previous state, nor is there the opinion to "When Routine Ends". It would be great to have this option like with other Ifs. Second Suggestion is to add more than just "Reverse these actions" to the "When Routine Ends" option. Give the user the option to do other things after the routine has ended, instead of just reversing.

A flashcard function.
Where you can create a new flashcard note. So one page of that note has a back and front (double tap to flip?). You can handwrite, insert images, type, or do anything can normally do on a note. There's also an option to shuffle your flashcard note, and an option to view your deck from front first or back first.
OR
A blackout function
A hide/reveal function where you can black out certain parts of your notes temporarily for recall. (Double click to reveal the blacked out text. 'Turn on blackout mode' - this mode stays on until you turn it off i.e. doesn't revert back to normal when you close the app. When you turn off the mode the blackouts that you made are saved for when you turn it back on.
And how cool would it be if you could combine these two features. I hope that made sense lol.

It would be amazing and save people a lot of time if you were able to scan food into the food calorie counter on Samsung Health instead of manually searching and requesting items that are missing. This feature is available on other apps like my fitness pal. The community could even help populate the database by scanning food items. You could even point reward system members for maintaining the database for discounts on health products.

How about having a Samsung version of iMessage? Spice up the messaging app abit. Include animations, stickers, emojis, different templates to create a different messaging experience.

I am currently using the galaxy tab S7 to study and take notes. Everything works but I have a couple of suggestions to make the notes app even better.
First, let users decide how many preset colours you can have on the toolbar. Currently you have 3 presets no more no less. However even though you can select which colours you want, you are stuck with 3. I like to take notes with different colours and have to go to the color selection too many times making me lose time and track of the class. Furthermore you can customize the right side of the toolbar, Why not make the whole toolbar customizable. I know that you can have preset pens and change between them with the button. But this is no good since you have to cycle through a bunch of pens just to get to the one you want. All that while holding the Spen away from the screen.
On another note, add better templates or let users use a pdfs as templates. Currently I have to add my pdf multiple times to use it as a template.
This two things would make the app even better. To be clear I really like the app but those changes can save users a lot of time. Last things to add, in my opinion, an option to make dotted lines and a better way to draw shapes, like the way that the app concepts use.
Thank you. #samsung notes

Hello everyone, I think a great idea would be allowing the customers who purchased the Samsung Galaxy Ao3 core to enable the appear on top or overlay feature. This can be a very annoying thing because some apps need this setting enabled to run and function properly but there is no way to enable it, not even in the developer options so I think it would be an awesome idea to allow us to enable this feature at our own risk. If it does slow down the device then that's fair but I would love to have free will whether to enable this or not because I have used much more downgraded phones in the past such as the Samsung Galaxy J2 2017 and it had the overlay feature there and the phone worked just fine with it so please can we have the option to enable this feature? Maybe bring it in the next update?

Super simple suggestion. Can you please change the gallery icon? All the other icons are nice but this one looks like the wallpaper my grandma had in the 60s 😂 Thank you!

In the new android 10 gesture to go back where we swipe from the side of the screens, it would be great if there was an option to choose from which side we want the gesture on (left only / right only / both sides) along with the height at which this gesture works on the sides making it easier to use the side menus within most apps.

I like being able to use back gestures to navigate my device while using my S Pen, but when using the notes app and starting my note taking on the left hand of the screen, it's very hard to write there because the device wants to use the back gesture.
I'd like to suggest adding a Samsung Notes specific toggle to disable the S Pen back gesture while note taking / editing a note with the S Pen within the app. This would take precedence over the system wide allowance of the S Pen for gestures and would allow us to use the S Pen for gestures, but when note taking, have it disabled so we can actually take notes reasonably and not struggle the entire time.

It would be nice if we could create and edit notes on laptops and other non-Samsung devices trough a web app. This would mean that Notes could be easly accessed through various platforms such as Windows, Linux and other OSs without the necessity to be installed. I know that there is already an application available on the Microsoft Store but it only works on some specific Samsung devices. Thank you for your attention!

Samsung should provide apps lock feature in their mobile phone as other companies are giving for from year's. It will help user's to lock any individual app to protect their privacy from other people having phones of user's.

Hi all, So recently I saw a few videos and documentaires about millennials massively going back to dumbphones. Though I believe that many love this social media and smartphone detox once in awhile. A smartphone is an essential device in our ever growing digital world. Though I was thinking about it more and more and well it would be super nice to introduce a dumbphone mode on One UI. For example only allowing the user to use text messenger apps like SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Signal, ... and calling with either those apps or your normal phonecalls. All other use of apps is prohibited to prevent you from endless scrolling on IG, TikTok, Browser, etc. Or watching tons of YouTube etc. The reason for a dumbphone mode instead of a dumbphone boils down to few things, texting with good haptics and full keyboard is king. A decent slab of screen estate is a joy to use. Especially if the mode could give some minimalist vibes and well for longer messages or conversations via text. You can still take pictures and video. + You might save some battery (though I think a real dumbphone should trump this, unless real good optimalisation but that could be at cost of photography since that often requires CPU power). Anyways I see some if not a lot potential in such a mode. Even if it's just a 'vacation' mode or whatever. Like generally I think a lot of people would use it and it could be a niche feature of Samsung phones. The trend of the dumbphones is very common amongst younger people and studies have found that the majority of people are between 25 and 35. This means millennials who have known both worlds really like to disconnect from time to time. Though it's not uncommon for teenagers at the moment to also just want a dumbphone. Giving them the option to opt in and out whenever they want would be really nice I believe. Not sure what you guys think about this? Of course a smartphone remains a smartphone and should grow on that part. But things like the Kids mode on tablets is already super popular on One UI. You can expand on this even more. Like you could use the strength of Android and it's customisation here by allowing people to define 'their own' dumbphone/vacation/detox mode by choosing which apps to block out etc. With block out I mean, even if internet is on, it will not update, not bother you, not refresh and get notifications in, heck it won't even work in background, like zero resources to it and you can't even open it when you want to. Unless you go into the settings of the mode to 'unblock' that certain app. This is a feature that I would very much like to see. Of course people could answer by saying 'just limit yourself' but honestly such a mode can help you a lot with it. And a great deal of studies have been done already on the positive impacts of detoxing once in awhile or like living with a dumbphone entirely. Though I think many are like flex. Going full vegi or vegan is also a step too far for many, even though they want to.. well you could be a flexitarian. Let me know what you think and as always, have a good day or night.
