Please add the ability to use all three cameras at the same time when taking photos so that we can re-frame the photo after it's taken. Apple calls this feature 'Smart Frame'. It lets you change the crop or perspective of photos and videos taken with the normal lens by simultaniously taking a photo with every other lens on the device including the ultra wide. Please like and comment if you'd like this feature too!

Looking at what Google, Huawei and now Apple have achieved with their night mode functionality, I think the quality of Samsung's really needs to improve to compete.

The Beta end is near.. Samsung has worked hard to fix all those pesky bugs... But I have not seen any of the suggested features implemented so here is a last call in case we can get a few before the last Beta.... Ranked In order of importance/popularity.. 1. Implementation of Google Feed/Home on first page of home screen (even if it's part of Samsung Daily) 2. Vertical volume bars (Bottom right corner) 3. Shoot with all Cameras at once 4. Smart Things notification tray, ability to switch devices without leaving current app (as with Android Pie) 5. Improved/new notification notification light 6. Improved night camera shot (faster & less noise) 7. Better more reactive scene optimizer (e.g. for macro/portrait apply blur, when dark apply night mode) 8. Split Video close up and distance at the same time Hopefully these changes should be simple enough and already be in Samsungs pipeline as these are much requested and are what other manufacturers have over Samsung. Please @TomaszT push this to the Devs in hope we can get some of these in on the next (and probably final release) Thanks

Hi all, So recently I saw a few videos and documentaires about millennials massively going back to dumbphones. Though I believe that many love this social media and smartphone detox once in awhile. A smartphone is an essential device in our ever growing digital world. Though I was thinking about it more and more and well it would be super nice to introduce a dumbphone mode on One UI. For example only allowing the user to use text messenger apps like SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Signal, ... and calling with either those apps or your normal phonecalls. All other use of apps is prohibited to prevent you from endless scrolling on IG, TikTok, Browser, etc. Or watching tons of YouTube etc. The reason for a dumbphone mode instead of a dumbphone boils down to few things, texting with good haptics and full keyboard is king. A decent slab of screen estate is a joy to use. Especially if the mode could give some minimalist vibes and well for longer messages or conversations via text. You can still take pictures and video. + You might save some battery (though I think a real dumbphone should trump this, unless real good optimalisation but that could be at cost of photography since that often requires CPU power). Anyways I see some if not a lot potential in such a mode. Even if it's just a 'vacation' mode or whatever. Like generally I think a lot of people would use it and it could be a niche feature of Samsung phones. The trend of the dumbphones is very common amongst younger people and studies have found that the majority of people are between 25 and 35. This means millennials who have known both worlds really like to disconnect from time to time. Though it's not uncommon for teenagers at the moment to also just want a dumbphone. Giving them the option to opt in and out whenever they want would be really nice I believe. Not sure what you guys think about this? Of course a smartphone remains a smartphone and should grow on that part. But things like the Kids mode on tablets is already super popular on One UI. You can expand on this even more. Like you could use the strength of Android and it's customisation here by allowing people to define 'their own' dumbphone/vacation/detox mode by choosing which apps to block out etc. With block out I mean, even if internet is on, it will not update, not bother you, not refresh and get notifications in, heck it won't even work in background, like zero resources to it and you can't even open it when you want to. Unless you go into the settings of the mode to 'unblock' that certain app. This is a feature that I would very much like to see. Of course people could answer by saying 'just limit yourself' but honestly such a mode can help you a lot with it. And a great deal of studies have been done already on the positive impacts of detoxing once in awhile or like living with a dumbphone entirely. Though I think many are like flex. Going full vegi or vegan is also a step too far for many, even though they want to.. well you could be a flexitarian. Let me know what you think and as always, have a good day or night.

Was just thinking about how many camera modes are missing on my s10 plus that used to be on my s8, things like virtual object, sports mode and the background blur one which meant you could focus on an object and it would take 3 pics, one with the close subject in focus, one with the background and one with them all. Just wish these were still available and really would like to see a return

This isn't a suggestion at all but I just wanted to show my appreciation for the incredible suggestions that everyone has submitted so far! It's amazing that every year Samsung gives the opportunity to make suggestions directly to the teams that create the software that we all love and use everyday. Every suggestion both big and small will help Samsung improve One Ui for us all. Great job everyone! 👏

on s22 ultra there is laser used for focusing on a back of the phone. It would be nice to have an application which is using that laser as ir blaster, so you can remote controll tv, etc....Hardware is already there

We can save the pictures from our camera directly to our SD card but not screenshots. On average most of us make more screenshots than camera photos a day. Imagine if we could save our screenshots directly to our SD cards by default? Is there any way I can get my device to automatically save my screenshots to my SD without having to do it manually?

I currently own both a Samsung S20 Plus and an Apple iPhone 13 Pro (for work purposes).
I greatly prefer the compact design of the 6.1" iPhone 13 Pro and I would be thrilled to have a Samsung S23 with a 6.1-inch display. However, Apple offers all the top-notch features found in their larger Max version on their smaller 6.1-inch model. Why doesn't the S23 offer this? It would be perfect!
My Apple 13 Pro boasts a generous 1TB of storage and possesses all the advanced features found in the larger phones.
On the other hand, Samsung's S23 only offers 256GB of storage, which is a significant downgrade. Nevertheless, this is the size that feels most comfortable in the hand and pocket. If the S23 were offered with the same specifications as the Plus or Ultra versions, I would be willing to pay extra to enjoy the smaller form factor.
To be honest, I ended up choosing the S20 Plus primarily due to the attractive incentives available at the time (even though I preferred the S20), such as additional RAM and camera features. However, my real desire was to have a smaller device without sacrificing any features, which Apple offers with their Pro 13 model.
I absolutely love the Apple Pro 13 with its 1TB storage—it's the perfect size, just like the S23.
I sincerely hope that Samsung considers creating the S23 with the same equivalent specifications as the larger models, similar to what Apple has done with their Pro lineup.
It seems that Samsung is heavily focused on promoting larger devices, and as a result, the incentives make the S23 seem unappealing. I really don't want to switch to Apple just to get a feature-rich device in a smaller form factor.
In summary, the Apple 13 Pro provides a 6.1-inch display but offers the same features, and even more, compared to the S23+ with its 6.6-inch display.
The S23 with a 6.1-inch screen is the ideal size! It just needs to have the same features as its larger counterparts!

On my old Huawei P30 pro, they had brought out a feature for split screen video where it records video in both close up and wide angle at the same time, this was brilliant for filming the kids a shows etc... Would love to see something similar on Samsung.. See below example which I have converted to gif so I can upload to this community.

Why don't you bring back the Dual Camera mode? We used to have it, but samsung removed for some reason. Its that mode when you can use both front and back camera at the same time.

The Samsung Camera Pro Mode has all the amazing settings to get the perfect picture for each environment but.. Wouldn't it be great to allow the user to set there own presets for e.g. night mode or high exposure etc.. I would expect these to appear in the pro mode itself just like the live focus filters.. so they can be selected qwickly when needed. Sometimes when you find the perfect settings you want to be able to reuse them without fiddling with each setting every time, this would be perfect for that

I hate to mention Huawei here but the camera is what they do well... They auto apply blur and beauty effects if it detects a face or close up macro shot. It would be amazing if we could have this also. The Samsung scene optimizer works well at detecting a person or macro shot but it does not seem to do a lot to the photo.. So my question is can we have the blur effect from live focus applied with portait/Macro shots, with the ability to change and remove the effect afterwards (Like the current live focus mode but without having to switch modes)

Hi all, So it's not exactly a new feature I'd like, it's an old one that was removed. Pro video with the same functionality and pro picture. It's so amazing to have this control over your videos and outshine the competition once again. Also the ability to shoot with the ultrawide with pro photo.

Hi, can you please add the option to be able to turn off the screen and keep the hyperlapse capture on. It will save a ton of battery for long takes. I'm a Galaxy A52s user but this could be rolled out on all devices. Thanks #galaxy A52s

I remember during the S10 announcement keynote Samsung stated it opened up it's Camera SDK and apps like Snapchat and Instagram would have the same quality and/or function as the native camera app. I'm not sure why this hasn't happened since it was such a big announcement But Samsung really need to deliver on this

A feature that has recently been added on iOS camera app. Is the ability to hold the capture button to record a clip (like Snapchat) and you can drag the shutter button to the right for it to go into the recording mode. Would be nice to have that option

This app works very well, I think the newest feature that should be worked on is the "remastered" feature. Giving the option to replace the picture chronologically instead of duplicating and moving up front as a "new" photo would certainly ease my OCD. Galaxy S21 5G
