It would be great to have the option to slow charge overnight in order to extend the lifespan of the battery. While fast charging is great, I personally charge my phone overnight and from my understanding, once the battery reaches 100% the battery will stop charging but due to the nature of Li-ion batteries, they will begin to drain soon after and therefore once the battery drops to 99%, charging will once again begin until it reaches 100% and this will repeat all night. As with all rechargable batteries, constant discharging and recharging from 99 to 100%, will degrade the battery over time. Let me know what you think!

Battery life on exynos versions wasnt great. Especially on the S10 and S10e. The S10 with a 3400 mAH should be doing more than 6 hours of sot on optimised. I can't get that much on medium power saving mode. Samsung please improve battery life with this update. 3400 is more than enough. Just look at the snapdragon versions with awesome battery life. I know it's mainly because of hardware but maybe it can be improved with efficienct software. So please make the battery life better for us with the exynos chipsets.

I remember reading an article somewhere that someone from Samsung after the note 10 launch said faster charging on the S10 could be possible via a software update. Now my suggestion is, what better way to roll this out with one ui 2.0 and let us betas test the feature, I have a Samsung A70 that supports faster charging out of the box so I've already got the plug I need.

Need a way of seeing screen on time since last full charge and not just last 24 hours you could do this on pie would be useful to have this feature back as some people like to see how much screen time they are getting on one charge.

I have seen a few suggestions to achieve better battery management so I thought we could pull together and help advise where this is possible. For me it's: 1. Close apps automatically if not used for say 15 minutes and CPU usage is above 50% 2. Force close app if it runs high processes for a period of time in the background 3. More vigorous Auto Brightness (like Huawei) 4. Apply the policy where apps can only access permissions when the app is in use (like the setting we have for location) 5. Ability to only allow certain background prcocess for apps (e.g. I want notifications to always be allowed but not connection listener) 6. Block/uninstall non compulsory system apps/processes. Please feel free to suggest more, This way we can get what we want by help Samsung achieve it

Instead of limiting the battery charging to 85% only, you can add an option that allows you to set the phone to charge up to 50% when charging over night (time can be manually specified by the user eg enabling charging between 12am-6am) and when 6am arrives charging resumes at Fast Charging/Super Fast Charging or whichever charging mode the phone supports. It would be a nice feature to have on the Modes and Routines app if possible to be added on already manufactured phones instead of waiting for newer models to be released.

Once your phone hits 100% it stops charging. Like the Sony phone does.

on s22 ultra there is laser used for focusing on a back of the phone. It would be nice to have an application which is using that laser as ir blaster, so you can remote controll tv, etc....Hardware is already there

Please change back to old UI of battery usage. It's difficult to understand this battery usage graph and can't force stop apps from this new UI. Also can't find Screen on time in this new UI of device care. Kindly, please give us the old UI of battery usage. Or make changes in the new one so that we can the things I've mentioned. TIA

I kind of like the new battery page but there is lack of statistics there. It would be good to mix the new style from Android 10 with the statistics from Android Pie..

I have had a look but cant find it in the battery menu... Is there a way to include a Time On Battery indication maybe next to the battery remaining time? At the moment I have to add up and approximate the time across multiple days from the graphs. Thanks

This isn't a suggestion at all but I just wanted to show my appreciation for the incredible suggestions that everyone has submitted so far! It's amazing that every year Samsung gives the opportunity to make suggestions directly to the teams that create the software that we all love and use everyday. Every suggestion both big and small will help Samsung improve One Ui for us all. Great job everyone! 👏

EMERGENCY CONTACTS should be able to reach the phone owner, no matter what. When my phone is on vibrate, silent, or Do Not Disturb, I want my EMERGENCY contacts, which includes any alternative numbers from which I may call my phone when lost, to bypass the privacy feature in the method/s I so choose. If I want certain or especially EMERGENCY contacts' texts to pop up and/or my phone to vibrate, and/or my phone to ring at the loudest volume when on silent, vibrate, or do not disturb, I should have the option of this LIFESAVING feature. It could also help during immediate theft. This very day, I lived through the LIFE ENDANGERMENT need for this feature. I had my phone on vibrate in my pocket, and did not feel nor hear it after half a dozen texts, and over half a dozen calls in the same hour. One of us could have died! Hi. This is not a bug. This a user feedback to you. So far I am loving the Q beta. Except few bugs, which I reported and got my replied. How ever, I would like to say that the new Device Care app is beautiful. And better then previous one. But the new Q beta battery graph is a disappointment. As a user and Samsung lover, I would love to get the old Pie battery graph where you could see usage based on the 100% charge and not a daily battery stats. Thanks.

Would be great to have the option to stop charging when the phone reaches a certain pre-determined percent (Say 80%) This would help preserve battery longevity greatly as keeping a battery at 100% degrades the battey quickly. Would really improve overnight charging.

Alot of these new samsung phones are coming out without an MicroSD slot available. I know sometimes it may be hard to put in, and I know that's just the path the generations of phones are going down now, is SD cardless, but i know many people will agree with me. We want the MicroSD card slot back if possible. It was actually one of my main buying points when it comes to being loyal to samsung phones, but now it's gone. A main reason diminished. I'm was really looking forward to buying an S22 Plus, but learning that I cant put my SD card from this samsung into that one is a massive deterrent unfortunately. I hope we can add a way to put back in a MicroSD card slot while having our Sim card in as well. Please hear our suggestions 💜🙏. I need a new Samsung 😅

This app works very well, I think the newest feature that should be worked on is the "remastered" feature. Giving the option to replace the picture chronologically instead of duplicating and moving up front as a "new" photo would certainly ease my OCD. Galaxy S21 5G

There should be information on the battery usage graph when the device was powered off/restarted. Currently you can only see when it was charging and discharging but the power off/restart device on the graph would be useful as well because it is good to often restart your mobile from time to time for the smooth running of the device and having this information on the graph would help to track that.

Hi there first off thank you for making such wonderful phones. I used to years ago use your note 2 and have recently decided to get back into the world with buying the S 23 Ultra. It's a great phone just figured I'd make a suggestion or two to make it perfect. - Bring back green flashing notification light - S-pen needs to be thicker and more comfortable like note 2 pen - Get rid of curved screen bring back glass so that the pen is comfortable to draw and glide with on the screen for art. - Come up with more innovative art software for drawing and pictures, keep the current stuff but add more features. Like why is there no tool to draw a straight line on a photo? - I don't mind the phone weighing more if I get a bigger battery - Shorten the phone slightly to make it easier to fit in pocket or invente a great case that attaches to your belt. - When you swip down you have all those different items you can use ex. Screen recorder make all of these available as apps so that they can be placed on the screen. - Add video editing software that helps people who make YouTube videos compose them, add music to them, splice them with other videos - I know Apple on some of there devices have a magnetic charge cable that snaps on and off. I think that's a cool idea because if your charging cable ever bends the wrong way it just snaps off with out breaking the phone of cable. - The phone does get hot going out into the sun I'm not sure how you can improve upon it, I'm not sure if that's because of the plastic screen or if it's just all of the tech. I will always take a bigger battery over this concern but it is something to consider with the material being used for the exterior of the phone. - I do believe people like gimmicks to a degree so be creative. I loved some of the ideas some of the cat phones had with Lazer range finders and cool stuff. Or look at razor doing an old school flip phone option on there modern-day flip phone. We might not always use these features but we love to brag. - I'm a suckered for the old school brick phones because of the vibration tech and how you could really feel the vibration and how you could make the volume so loud you could clearly hear what someone was saying while you were driving with all the windows wide open. - I have to congratulate you guys your camera's truly are a thing of beauty and to be admired - Oh I am against having a finger print sensor but I understand that people do want them just something to consider too -Thank you guys for your hard work and innovation samsung truly is a remarkable company and your hard shows in your products keep up the great work and I hope some of my tips helped.
