The beta community user interface on the S8 Android Oreo beta was a lot nicer From what I remember it was natively built into the app as opposed to this clunky/slow web/iframe view we have now I'm not sure if there was any particular reason for this but I thought the old experience was better (example attached)

I kind of like the new battery page but there is lack of statistics there. It would be good to mix the new style from Android 10 with the statistics from Android Pie..

Due to the relative low security of the face unlock system compared to the fingerprint scanner, a feature could be implemented where your notifications are hidden until it recognises your face, but does not unlock your device until the fingerprint scanner is used. This takes advantage of the facial scanning software already within the UI, and also insuring security for your notifications and your personal files.

If double Tap to wake is a thing, why do we not have double Tap to Lock on one UI 1 and/or 2? Or is it just me who doesn't know where it is! @TomaszT

I have had a look but cant find it in the battery menu... Is there a way to include a Time On Battery indication maybe next to the battery remaining time? At the moment I have to add up and approximate the time across multiple days from the graphs. Thanks

This isn't a suggestion at all but I just wanted to show my appreciation for the incredible suggestions that everyone has submitted so far! It's amazing that every year Samsung gives the opportunity to make suggestions directly to the teams that create the software that we all love and use everyday. Every suggestion both big and small will help Samsung improve One Ui for us all. Great job everyone! 👏

Now that you can swipe between your open /recent apps can we have the app switcher show the current open app by default when you swipe up. Instead of jumping to the last app that was opened

Provide an option to disable the screenshot capture by pressing Power and Volume down keys. I keep pressing it by accident. Would be nice to have an option to disable this shortcut. Thanks

Introduce a Smart Alarm feature. It definitely works in waking you up at better time according to your sleep cycle. A little research into this topic will be a very big plus to the Digital Wellbeing app. The idea can be inspired from the Sleep Cycle app. Thanks

The Google Clock app allows media streaming services to be used for an Alarm, this is a great feature that allows me to set a playlist so I get a different alarm each day and not be restricted to what music I have on my phone. Would it be possible to have this built into Samsung's own app.. Also I know this one is a bit more difficult but allowing a song to be set from Spotify etc.. as a ringtone. The reason I ask for this is because I don't pay to download songs anymore with paying for Spotify.

Hi, I have a suggestion for when making calls. It may seem similar to other suggestions but is different. So my suggestion is to add an option where instead of the whole screen displaying who your ringing rather do a similar job to receiving calls. When receiving calls the whole screen doesnt display when you are using the phone. I am making this suggestion because when I was driving and made a call via bluetooth from my car, the maps disappeared under the calling screen and whilst driving you shouldn't be using your phone as it very dangerous. Hence the reason for this minor but effective change. Hope you can understand this. Mr.TechNotion

Split screening I feel has become a long winded process. Looking at how Good Lock does it, the ability to drag an app to the bottom or top in the app switcher is a much smoother experience

Currently the lowest position for the volume control (one notch above silent) is still too loud. There should be more notches across the entire volume control slider.

From Gallery, when we open an image, we used to tap menu and get option called Set as - where we can set image as profile picture for third party app, but Samsung removed that feature, please bring it back. It will allow us to use image directly from Gallery to set on and 3rd party app.

Hi In previous One UI I was using a home screen grid of 6x6 panels this was great for one handed use plus my favourite tray also had 6 app icons this has now cha ged since I got the One UI beta. Can this please be reinstated on the next update. Thanks

I prefer a clean look and some widgets on full screen. Can the removal of the app dock be added as an option? This is an option on Nova which I use exclusively.

Any chance Samsung can attempt to make the camera cut out double up as a notification light? This is something majority of Samsung users would love to have on this device. If you're able to do this it would be amazing. Please look into it.
