Hi all,

I purhcased a GWU yesterday with a esim plan for LTE connection.

When connected to bluetooth, it runs amazing but when I turn off bluetooth, I can send a text but its delayed in getting to the receiver - if they reply, I do get it but ages later - no notification and only if I check the messages app.

I cannot make or receive calls - if i ty to make a call it says call ended straight away.

My provider has tested my network and can see the sim is connected, they've confirmed it is not a location issue as the network is excellent in my location and my mobile is full bars and works perfectly.

Does anyone know what I can try? my provider has sent it off for investigation.

Nah I did ask will everyone get notified but he said no it's just a case of keep checking. He said because it's such a massive issue with so many people they wouldnt be able to contact everyone. I'll keep trying and feedback once it's done.

I'm giving them a month if it's not resolved I'll switch to another network as I'm on a SIM only deal.

I am getting this issue also, and I'm with O2, the data seems to work OK but can't make or receive phonecalls. Gives me an error and then a message of only emergency calls. Will go on Monday to the O2 store and see if they tell me what the problem is.

I have the same problem with my new Samsung galaxy watch ultra. After many calls to EE, they raised it up a couple of levels. Apparently it's a known issue & will be sorted within a couple of weeks. I will wait & see.

Good evening everyone, was there any development on the issue because I have exactly the same problem? Thank you

So I just called EE for an update. Still no fix on the issue, they don't know what is causing the issue and have allocated additional teams to try and resolve.

Ive been credited back for my first month and an additional credit for this month.

The person I spoke to seems to think because it's been escalated so much within EE it will be fixed soon.

Id say to anyone else call EE and get your account credited ( even though data does works on the watch it's just calls and messages that dont) I'll call back towards the end of the month for an updated but if I was a betting man I'd say I don't think they will get this issue resolved personally.

Nope a few people have complained about that too. Not sure what's going on with Samsung at the moment.

Yeah I might do a chat with them and ask. I only use it for YouTube premium anyway but I had a similar problem when I purchased the s22 ultra back when that launched, took me a year and lots of chasing to get my Disney plus from them.
