I have been trying to find out where to get this data on my Samsung health App. I have a Samsung watch 6. Under the Daily Activity page, i can see the Activity Calories for the current day and also the Total Burned Calories for that day which is clear Activity calory from my steps or exercise and total which is for the whole day. The total should always be greater than the Activity. I can also see this data for the previous day within the same week i guess. For example today is the second day of this week which started yesterday the 21st of July 2024. I see yesterdays data for Activity Calories and total for yesterday and today so far and i guess i would be able to see that of tomorrow the 23rd of July. My issue is i cant see the same data for last week which started July 14th to 20th. All i see is the Activity data for each day last week but not the Total burned calories for each day. I used to get that information when i had my Fitbit. Is this information somewhere that i don't know about. I want to be able to track my true calories burned for each day and not my Activity calorie burn which isn't a true reflection of how many calories i burned in each day.

I'm in the same boat and I think I may have figured it out. I'm a long time Fitbit user and just picked up a GW7 a few weeks ago. I've continued to wear my Fitbit sense while testing out the galaxy. Among other issues, I've noticed the galaxy calorie burn count is, consistently, 500-600 calories less than my Fitbit total burn each day. I can confirm the fitbit calorie burn is accurate enough, that I have maintained my weight for over 3 years +/- 4lbs against my calorie intake. I notice today, with the galaxy, there is 0 calorie burn recorded during sleep or sedentary periods, like, watching tv or driving, etc. My Fitbit, however, records 1/24th of my BMR each hour, while sleeping or stationary, (around 75 calories/hr for me). If I look at my Samsung health active hours timeline and add in the same 1/24th of my BMR per hour of inactive period, I get a burn total that looks more like what my Fitbit still gives me. If I look at my Samsung health active hours timeline and add 75 calories per hour of zero activity, I get a burn total that looks more like what my Fitbit still gives me.
I really wish that Samsung health actually the calorie burn properly, or, allowed you to add in the missing calorie burn per day. They say that they do factor in BMR, but, that's just wrong. I've tried adjusting my daily activities level 1-4 in the setup page, that seems to have no effect.
Anyway, try it out, see if the math works for you too.
