I recently got the Watch 7 and was excited to use it as it seemed, from research, more accurate across the board and the metrics were more insightful too. Now I know any wearable will have a margin of error, and I know as well from research and experience that fitbit overestimate calories burned, part of the reason why i wanted a samsung, but this watch 7 is really underestimating my total calories burned and its really annoying! I am 5' 11", 185lbs and even on days I go to the gym, or do 10k plus steps, or jog, my total calories burned does no surpass 1800. This can't be right as I've checked several TDEE calculators with my Fat percentage as well and there is almost a 600 cal difference. I know other people have posted on here about this, has anyone else managed to sort this out? If not I hope samsung see this as more feedback about the software and they update soon because having to basically ignore a big feature of the watch seems like a dud marketing move lol. If i went by my watch to support even maintainance long term I'd be starving!

By all means, go into the support section on the Members App and leave feedback there for development teams to see
But all of these wearables no matter which manufacturer. The information shown is just a guide
None of them will be precise as to get precise measurements, it takes more calibrated equipment, etc.
To get more accurate information you will need to take other information and calculate it. Same goes with how many steps you've done etc
Things are improving over time, and giving constructive feedback in the support section will help

This calorie burn algorithm is so low compared to the excersize I do. I know what I do and it hardly comes near
