Alexa Connection?

I need help. My tv is not turning on with alexa command. I can use alexa to control it when it's turned on, it turns it off too. Once it's off though, if I try "alexa turn on my Samsung tv" it says " TV Samsung isn't responding. Please check its Internet connection and power supply" how I fix???

@JohhnyBns @Metalheadtec: Please be advised that TV's with built-in Alexa must be powered on in order to recognise voice commands.
