Interesting. You think the grain is from that? What's the tradeoff?

Samsung is doing nothing about this. They even suggested I deal with tmobile and return the phone!!

Install the OLED Saver application on another Samsung phone, which removes PWM and you will see exactly the same structure on dark objects.
The compromise is that either high PWM and the eyes hurt but the image is crystal clear, or low PWM, the eyes do not get tired but there is noise at low brightness. Samsung tried to choose low PWM this year.

Same. I just canceled my pitaka case and samsung anti glare screen protector purchases. My s23 ultras display looks way better. If u go to change from natural to vivid there is like zero difference lol! Unlike the s23 I could tell immediately.

Hi all,
Just to clarify: I've merged several threads commenting on the S24 Series display into one thread. This makes the discussion more streamlined.

Same issue. There is something wrong with the colors on this new screen. I wish Samsung would provide additional information regarding this issue as we have a short window for returns after purchasing.

You have to understand that customer service go by a script and a knowledge base, they're not experts. When you ask them a question they're given a guide to follow, so unless they have been given an updated script or knowledgebase, or if they have already encountered this issue and feel brazen, you won't get much help.

Ah that's too bad. I never had eye strain on my s22u. Thanks for your info tho

I'm giving them 1 week

Same. Back to s22u and never a Samsung at launch again if it's not fixed by next week.
