Hi,
I've been shooting photos since 2 weeks on my s24+
I have to say I hate this camera post processing, which is destroying the photos in 90% of cases.
My kid looks like a zombie or sick on most of the photos.
I have disabled all optimizations etc. but still, camera is doing post processing. The only way is to save RAW+jpg.

Fun thing is that "live preview" looks fine, and the photo after shooting looks fine just before "post processing".

What is going on here and how to fix it?

Here are examples:

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

@zethrix: I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the photos that you've captured on your Galaxy S24+. Although I appreciate that you might have already tried this, please head to the Camera app > Tap the cog symbol in the top left > Advanced intelligence options, and set this to 'Minimum'. This will prevent post-shot optimisation, so the images should retain the same quality as the preview.

Do you have filters turned on? There's a skin smoothness setting that does things like that...

I would certainly recommend turning it OFF1708252743403.jpg1708252743438.jpg

I've been trying the camera on my S24+ and tbh it's pretty poor ,my 4 year old OnePlus 8t which has an average camera was on par with this S24

I find that post-processing is significantly altering the photographs. I would appreciate a "off" mode for post-processing, as it would enable me to modify them according to my preferences using lightroom .

I have observed that the post-processing process significantly alters the photographs. I would appreciate a "off" mode for post-processing, as it would enable me to modify them according to my preferences using lightroom. Color banding is another significant issue on s24ultra. Videos are available on YouTube outlining the issues. I anticipate that Samsung will address these issues in the near future.

Is there anyone from Samsung crew here? The only thing we ask is turning off this crazy post-processing. Previews looks okay until photo is shot and killed with post processing....
