I just bought the standard S24 and I'm shocked how bad the photos are. There are other threads but none that explicitly call out the yellow tint. It is horrendous. I have no filters, no settings for skin tone, or additional post processing that i have set. The preview is also showing this yellow tint. My s10e, despite its camera burn in and black dot takes very realistic photos. I want the higher resolution but not in exchange for adjusting every photo I send to people.
Attached are some pearls in different lighting from both cameras without any adjustments. Also, one from outside where the color of the grass is obvious unnaturally over saturated and too warm.
I can't believe how bad this is. If I can't get this corrected this week, I'm going to return it and buy something else entirely (if anyone can recommend a better brand, please do.) I don't stream anything and only care about texting, calls, email, and photos.
Any advice on how to fix this?

I've seen posts before and some tech blogs that purport that Samsung phone's can produce over saturated photo's.
We all see differently @Phebes 👀
Many find relevant settings within the camera app.
Personally I've found no issue with my photo's taken on my phone Without having to adjust them.
Camera updates do get pushed out.
You must make up your own decision on what avenue you wish to take.
I wish you all the best.

Unfortunately, I had to fly out of the country and never got to return it. It hasn't gotten any better with different settings, the camera also overheats my phone before I take a single photo.

Hi Phebes,
looks like I had the same issue you're experiencing and I might have found a solution for that.
There might be a stupid automatic Routine set up that applies a yellowish color to Gallery and Camera apps.
Please go to Settings > Modes and Routines > Routines and find something like "Adjust Screen" (my phone is set to Italian so the English name could be a little different).
Disable or delete at all the routine and see if that works.
Hope this helps.
