Switched to Thunderbird as Samsung still havent fixed this. Happens on my S25, my wifes S25 and an A52.

Do you have advice for the same problem with S25 ultra? It's seems like settings is different and I can't follow above steps. Tnx

This started up about a month ago now on my A52. Did not notice it at first as was only typing short emails. Then typed a longer one and noticed scroll lock issue. Have tried android system webview uninstall updates and that works for a short while then it updates itself to the buggy version and we are back to it scroll locking again. As a samsung email app user since it was invented this is the biggest stuff up in history of email apps for samsung.
One would have thought they would have prioritised a fix, bit not so far. Dont go clearing your storage data as you will delete all your email accounts and for what? No one here has said that is a fix. People have removed and reloaded the app and still it continues to scroll lock. THIS IS A BUG IN THE CODE PPLS. Samsung kindly fix it asap or im loading thunderbird....
To anyone else reading this if you need to write a long email. Uninstall your android system webview updates first. Or send 25 short emails....
Can only hope for a fix soon.....

I couldn't undo the last update, soni cleaned the cache instead. Seems tonhave fixed it... for now.
I take that back. It worked once and then it went back to not scrolling

That did not work for more than 10 seconds. SAMSUNG TEAM PLEASE HELP! HUGE PROBLEM THIS IS! I'M BEGINNING TO THINK APPLE AND THAT'S PRETTY BAD!! I BELIEVE YOUR LAST UPDATE DID THIS. STOP WITH THE REDICULOUS UNNECESSARY UPDATES

Just great! WHERE IS THE F_IN FIX ALREADY?? I'VE HAD THIS ISSUE NOW FOR AT LEAST A MONTH AFTER THE LAST 1 OR 2 UPDATES WHICH WERE ONLY DAYS APART. SAMSUNG PLEASE GET GOING ON THIS!! DO I REALLY HAVE TO SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT PHONE?

Thank you for the excellent fix. The problem returned in a couple three days though. I corrected again and now it only lasts a day or two. I want to complain loudly to samsung but have not found a way to do that. Please let me know if you know.
