When clicking on a email address on a website, my Gmail app opens up and automatically fills out the email address in the "to" section. When drafting a message that is longer than the height of the screen, there is no way to scroll down. The text disappears behind the keyboard, and even below the menu bar (back arrow, home, ...).
It does work fine when I open the Gmail app, create a new email and fill out all information manually.

Same problem but it only started for my S23 Ultra with the latest upgrade. At first only affected my gmail accounts but now also affects all my email accounts - can only reply to short emails which don't extend behind the keyboard - scrolling no longer possible One uI 8.0 /Android 16

Same same on my Galaxy S23 Ultra. Also from that same update. Not to repeat what's already been asked, but this has been a problem for a while now. Has there been ANY mention of a fix yet? This definitely makes my work day much harder.

I have the same issue with my S22+, started about a week ago and is really annoying. I can't reply to long emails as I can't scroll to see the content. It seems to be linked to the latest One UI update. Please review and fix this quickly Samsung!

Have been using Samsung Email for years but of late unusable. Not fit gor purpose. Screen freezes and type disappears behind the key board. In addition can't scroll through my email. Extremely frustrating.

I had the same issue with the Samsung email app. Wouldn't scroll down to original email below when drafting a reply.

Here's the solution finally...Go into Settings, Apps, click on the sort icon and enable "Show system apps". Search for "Android System Webview". When you find the app in the list, click on it and then click on Storage. There you can clear cache and clear data. You may also be able to click on the three dots and also uninstall updates to reset it to factory. Once you've done this restart the phone and the email scroll problem should be resolved.
