@LadyVSY: Some email accounts must be added in POP3 or IMAP format, which might be why you're experiencing this issue. You may wish to try adding the account via the Gmail app > Tap your profile in the top right > Add another account, as this supports a host of third party providers, as well and POP3 and IMAP accounts.
