Email scroll lock

So over the last couple of weeks while using the Samsung email app, I'm having issues with what feels like some type of scroll lock.

I can open the app, select which email account I want to read, and can scroll with zero issues, but as soon as I try to reply to an email or compose an email it won't allow me to scroll down the screen.

I've included a screen recording of whats happening, as it will make more sense. Dont worry this is just a spam mail that isnt even using my correct email haha.

Now this happens no matter if its Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail. 

Am I missing a setting somewhere that switches on some weird scroll lock? I'm just using the standard settings, and havent changed anything.

I have the latest updates and software of one UI8, but ut was also doing this before I updated.

Can't view the view till the view moderators approves the contents first.

Did you find a fix for this? This has started happening to me. Ive forced the app to stop, cleared cache, restarted my phone. Driving me potty. Keeps jumping back to the top!

No, unfortunately not. Even after I gave Samsung technical control of my phone, they could see exactly what was happening, told me they would create a log for the engineers, had one message since then, and now nothing at all.

Pretty annoyed to be honest.

Did you receive a fix to your issue? If so please share.

The same issue started to  affect my email this afternoon.

Unfortunately not yet. Samsung keep giving me the run around, do this do that, try this try that. I've been on 3 times to them, given them remote control over my phone, but they dont seem to have any idea whats going on.

They want me to send yet more error reports, which I have done twice already and they cant find anything wrong.

So at a bit of a loss really. But if I do get it sorted I will let you know. Likewise if you can figure it out, please let me know as its driving me nuts.😂

Thanks for the update. I am seriously thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Don't want to do that as yet.

But, like you this is also driving me nuts. I used the app daily.  If I fond a solution I will let you know. Thanks.
