HW 90R stuck in store mode What is the steps to get it unstuck or reset?

For anyone else who has the HW-Q800C stuck in a shop mode and ended up here I might have a solution - I have been trying to set up my sound bar up with a amazon FireTV for hours and getting really frustrated with the way it's behaving until i realized it was in Shop4 mode. i tried turning off the sound bar and holding the down button. nothing. then saw the remote comments and still nothing. i remembered in the firetv settings i had added the soundbar in "equipment control" and in "display & sounds" at the bottom "HDMI-CEC device control" turned everything on so my firetv remote could control the sound bar. I randomly decided to power down the soundbar, hold down volume on the soundbar remote at the same time as holding down volume on the firetv remote. after 10 seconds i finally saw a "shop mode off" read out on the soundbar. idk what i did right or wrong but this worked for me.

i press and hold the down button of the remote for like 5 seconds, the "SHOP 6" appears, then i push the button up and hold for 5 seconds, comes the display "SHOP ON", now, i press the volume down button and hold another 5 seconds, finally it shows "shop off".....
I thought the problem was fixed...but when the soundbar reboots or turns on, the shop 6 come back....no effect at all...

Hi, 

I found out that of you hold down volume up while you are in shop1 menu, you go to a further menu where you have the option of shop on or off, but I'm stuck there. We need to find out how to choose shop off and all the problems are solved

File this under more frustration with Samsung and their top of the line soundbar.    I never got the old one to get out of shop mode.  My solution was to buy the new Q990C and write the old one off as a donation to Goodwill.

Well...the issue is back on the new one after 6months!  Stuck in Shop Mode 6.  Won't hold volume level reverts to 0.  While the original sequence I posted does allow you to see Shop Mode and cycle through Modes 3-6 it doesn't allow me to change or turn off, and if in fact Shop Mode NG means it didn't take a change then what do we do next?  

I'm trying the old school USB Software update (Smart Things says there is no update available but there is clearly a .4 version on their website) to see if that works but I'm becoming increasingly frustrated by Samsung,  either I'm very unlucky or their Quality Control is subpar.  Would love to hear from an official Samsung person for help...

I have the same issue. Paid 1000+ dollars for the sound bar and rear speakers. Rear speaker does not work. Hopefully there is a solution for this
