Had delivery of my Samsung TU7020 TV yesterday.

During setup (of HDMI input) it found my connected SkyHD+ fine. Subsequently (in setuo) it wasnt able to configure the mode where my new Samsung Remote could be used also to change Sky channels or go to Sky EPG etc. It did mention that I could do further settings later on.

I tried to go through Samsung TV Settings but couldn't find if/how to do.

DONT KNOW if its to do with the Sky Box being older HD+ and not Sky Q?. Any thoughts?

@RSLA: If you press the Home button on your Smart Remote > Source > Universal Remote, you will be able to configure your Sky box from here. Please ensure the box is powered on prior to carrying out the calibration. For more information, please refer to page 18 of the user manual via the link below.

Many thanks for reply but there's no option of Source > Universal Remote that shows on my TV settings. Maybe it's Country based as I'm UK?. There's something ANYNET+ mentioned in manual but doubt that would help. Thoughts?

Hi @RSLA  If you press Home on the Smart Remote and navigate to the left you will see the source options.  It is also explained in this article  (though you will not have a source button on Smart Remote)https://robotpoweredhome.com/samsung-tv-changing-input/  on my Tv  from the far left it is Settings,Source,Search,Apps.   Every Tv has a source option and I am  based in the Uk (as are all the Moderators and Samsung Makers)

Universal Remote Settings explained here https://www.samsung.com/levant/support/tv-audio-video/qled-how-do-i-use-my-samsung-oneremote-as-a-un...    Whilst I have it set up for Skyq, should also work for Sky HD.

Hi "connection guide", "TV" and "hdmi" (which is my hdmi connected sky box) are all shown if I scroll up as your link suggests. I can confirm there's no "universal remote" showing (I've tried scrolling left right etc. Is it something I need to download as maybe this new TV doesn't come with it as default?. Should I send a pic of screen to confirm?

The "Remote Access" icon is something different and not related to remote handset...

@RSLA  perhaps your set is different.  I have the Universal Remote icon next to  Connection Guide.  I have noticed a Frame Tv did not seem to have the option in this thread https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/universal-remote-option-not-available/td-p/1846729

As mentioned initially; "setup (of HDMI input) of newly connected SkyHD+ was fine...  BUT Subsequently IT SAID "wasnt able to configure the mode for Sky Box handset but did mention that I could do further settings later on".

@RSLA  There is definitely nothing you can configure in settings?  The manual does say Universal Remote dependent on model/region.
