Samsung Website and Shop App not letting me place an order

Tried multiple times. I've tried Clearing Cache and Cookies, this happens on both the app and website and I've tried on multiple devices and browsers.

First I'm able to get to the Checkout stage (once the website actually let's me sign in), and it'll initially display the different delivery options.

I try to go for payment, Twice using PayPal, once using direct card payment. It'll freeze once I submit the order:

Then take me straight back to the payment stage, I'd try again, freezes, takes me back to the payment stage, this time erasing my details:

Try to enter my details again (name address etc) and it just... Stops working:

Once this happens, no matter what I do, it'll keep freezing like the last image.

Anyone else having this issue? I've reported it via the online chat.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

I would clear Cache again, then wait a few hours and try again. Samsung website does so this from time to time.

I've already done this, and to make sure I've done so again just now. No luck.

I did recommend waiting "a few hours" lol. You only posted on here a couple of hours ago.

Samsung may be having issues. Maybe try tomorrow?

I should have mentioned that I had already tried yesterday and 2 hours before posting this, my fault there.

I'd like to say this might be Samsung having issues, but I haven't seen anyone else with the issue which makes me wonder what the source of the issue is.

I'm having this problem too. Tried ordering on Saturday, put the payment details in and accepted that the payment was me on my banking app which goes through fine and payment is pending but the Samsung website says payment unsuccessful, cleared cache and cookies etc and tried again. Same thing happened. Left it a few hours as suggested by customer services and tried using a credit card instead this time - nope, same issue. Tried once more using Paypal and again - payment unsuccessful and no order and yet payment is pending so I leave it for the day and get my husband to try to order on Sunday using a different pc and his credit card and yet again, same issue so we're now down 5 x payments of over £300 each time we've tried with no successful order... I am currently having the same problem making payment and completing my order online. Tried on Monday evening using my PayPal account and last night using my back account, same problem........pending, pending! I just want to order a TV, how hard can it possibly be? Looks like I will be back on the phone with Samsung this afternoon. Help!

Update - I have been on live chat with Samsung this afternoon and they have advise they were aware of the issue with ordering / payment issues via their website and I have been advised that they have fixed it. Let's see if I can order this evening...........fingers crossed.

I have just tried to place an order and have the same issue, I went onto their chair literally 3 minutes ago and they said they are aware of the issue. I have since tried again after seeing your post (albeit 3 minutes after) and it is still not working...

The issue seems to now be resolved for me. I was able to place my order later on that Saturday (around 9pm). As for what caused it, I still have no idea but it's more than likely on the Samsung side.

Honestly it's not a great website/app if it prevents customers from purchasing what seems to be quite frequently.
