Samsung made me update another persons order with my payment details...

As per the title, I feel like I've just been scammed by Samsung.

I have, at their direction, updated the payment details for an order that is not mine.
It belongs to somebody else.

How?
I contacted Samsung customer care team to update my payment details for my Care+ subscription.

I was unable to access my order (404: Not Found) when clicking the order in my "Orders" page, so they said they'd send me a link.

I received the link via Email, directly from the agent on the phone.
The link TEXT in the email had my order number (Ending for example: 5681).

I clicked the link, added my credit card and hit "Update Payment Details".
It went through and took me back to Samsung home page.

A short while later, I noticed that the address the link sent me to was a different order number (Ending for example: 2943).

I do not want to pay for someone else's order so I have no choice now but to cancel my credit card until this issue is resolved, just as many payments are expected to go out, including car payments!

I will likely lose my care+ subscription and even worse effect my credit rating as payments will now fail.

I am waiting for a response from your "Internal Team", but this kind of mistake should not happen with a company such as yours - I have been supplied someone else's order number, and have applied my details to their order!

Agreed: it shouldn't happen at all, @notmeagain .

Which country are you based in?

That sounds fishy, you have to be careful clicking on any links from a email especially when it involves any payments source.
