So i bought an S24 ULTRA 9 days ago, i need to charge twice a day and mostly i have about 1-2 hour of screen on time, nothing using location non stop etc, and it drops maye 70% in 3 hours of screen off time. So i asked for a return and refund and im being told im gonna have to pay 20% return fee, am i wrong in thinking samsung are actually mental asking over £200 for me to return a faulty item ??

They're treating it as a fault, i already have an s24 ultra but this current one was for my father, the battery was nothing like this with mine.

I paid with paypal so hopefully they will get the full refund if they indeed charge all of that. I thought even in the 14 days cooling off you could just return with no issues, as long as the phone was flawless and all packaging. Never had this issue with samsung before.

If it was the delivery cost it wouldn't bother me, but 20% of the purchasing price is actual robbery, surely that's just a scam at this point . .

I had to go drop it off and use my own packaging, i just got clarification, basically if they 'feel' it's not faulty even within the 14 days cooling off period i will be charged £200+, with 0 choice of requesting the phone back. Which i find disgusting, you would never think the phone was even used. I guess this will be lucky as i was going to buy the new Zflip and ultra watch next month but if this happens there is 0 chance i could trust them again.
