I pre ordered my S24 Ultra yesterday. I ordered this phone through the official Samsung Dutch site.
I received a free upgrade to the next higher storage capacity.
Just now I received a phone call from Samsung asking me if I had received an email with a €50 additional coupon against the purchase of an S24 model. I didn't receive an email with that coupon though I did fill out the form regarding promotions for the Samsung Event.
I should add at this point, the call I received came through with a Potential Fraud warning. The number started with 085. Here in the Netherlands, landline numbers use a three number prefix to identify an area; a 085 number is a national number, you have no idea if they're calling from Amsterdam or some very small village and those phone calls tend to be marketing calls.
I will assume this was a legitimate call.
Since I had already ordered and paid for my new phone, that €50 addition discount couldn't be applied.
He offered me the possibility of another promotional code, this time €40, against the purchase of another Samsung product but I don't need anything.
It would have been nice to receive a promotional code to apply against the €1359 for my S24 Ultra / 512GB. Oh well.

It appears some haven't unfortunately received the email from Samsung which holds this promotional code for registering to show interest.
I received mine while watching the Samsung Unpacked Event which gave £50 off.
If the call appears off then go with your gut instinct and don't engage and only order directly through the Samsung.com site for your region.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I have only had my s23u for 7 months, but £600 is a very tempting trade offer.
When I bought s23u in the samsung summer cashback promotion I am not sure I paid much more than £600 anyway... so if I trade for £600 it was pretty much a nett zero purchase.
With disney (that I do subscribe anyway) and the free watch6 then the deal is very tempting !
I have a watch 5 Pro... so it will likely sell on ebay and accrue some costs back... or maybe go to a family member.
Anyhow... I have not committed yet. Tempted to see what features are transferable and maybe wait until mid year for summer deals.

How they have found out you have ordered I have no idea but sounds fishy to me
I told the guy on the phone that I had already ordered the S24 Ultra. I asked if it were possible to apply that code to that purchase but was then told that it was not possible.
He called me to ask if I had received that voucher. He knew that I had jumped through some hoops to apply for a code (or something like that).

I did buy directly from Samsung Nederland yesterday. I compared what I paid for an S24 Ultra / 512 from Samsung to Mediamarkt, a large Dutch chain. The price I paid to Samsung was €210 cheaper.
Another €50 off would have been nice but it was still a deal.

So I got 150 + 50 Euro voucher . I got S 24 Ultra 1 TB Grey for 1090 . I also purchased 1 year accidental warranty so ended up paying 1155. However, I needed an S pen too which unfortunately went OOS.

Can I ask what country you're in. That sounds like an exceptional deal. I bought the S24 Ultra/512GB for €1359, a price that is €210 off the suggested price.
You bought the 1TB variant for considerable less. Could you go into more detail about that order?
Thanks.

I got the same call yesterday, from +64800726786 which is the actual supprt number in NZ... and It wasn't until I hung up that I thought .. Hang on.. that was off... what just happened.. they sent me a couple of texts afterwards that contained links and then I definitely knew it may have been a scam call.. then even more weird I get a friend request from a fake facebook account from a 'representative' from Samsung NZ ... I hope they can't do to much damage with my phone number, but I'll be reporting the number and links to our governments internet scam watch for investigation if it isn't a legitimate call.
they were good though, the number was an 0800 and had Samsung NZ with a 'smart' icon under the name...
and then a link to hiya which offers spam protection... it it was a scam it was executed very well, if it was an actual call it could have been executed better..
UPDATE.
So I rang the official Samsung support number for my country and asked them to check if I had been called and it showed on their records that it was a legit call offering an exclusive loyalty discount for samsung customers. I'm just glad that scammers didn't get my number.
