Hi everyone I'm Getting stuttering in Netflix, like a single frame skip every second or two. It seems to be worse when having subtitles enabled. It's not as bad when subtitles are off but it does still stutter. With subtitles on it always jumps between 24, 48 and 120 fps which makes it unwatchable. It's obviously a software issue that I hope Samsung can fix in the next update. I'm not the only one with this problem.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with the WiFi connection. I've tested this on a few other devices and it works perfectly fine. My bet is the issue is with Samsung as they seem to be bug central. It's not just netflix. The video streaming seems to be a bit iffy in general.

Have you tried clearing the cache of the Netflix App @JackC1990
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Yes mate that's one of the first things I tried. But I knew it wouldn't work as the issue lies with Samsung to fix.

I don't think the problem lies with Samsung and if it did, I'd be on your side.
I just now watched Netflix and there were no problems.
Others have given you things to try.
I can't add anything else.

Hi there, @JackC1990. In addition to what has been suggested already, you might wish to uninstall and reinstall Netflix to see if that helps.
Netflix lists the following steps (and you can find the exact instructions on its site):
"- Turn your device off, then back on
- Clear the Netflix app data
- Reinstall the Netflix app
- Test your internet connection
- Restart your home network"
If the issue persists, I highly recommend reaching out to Netflix's app developer to report the stuttering/skipping when viewing content. It's not something that I've been able to recreate myself and, as it's linked to a third-party app/service (from a Samsung perspective), the app developer is in the best position to delve into this further.
If you load up the Netflix app listing on the Google Play Store, you will see the contact details there.
Alternatively, you will be able to contact Netflix's Support Team via its site.
Please let us know when you get it resolved.

I find it bizarre when people say they don't notice it themselves. I had this exact same issue on my s23 ultra also. Maybe some people just don't notice it. This is not an isolated issue. There's a lot of people experiencing the same thing as me.
