Picture Quality

Hi i am experiencing an issue with my phone which i need help with. My pictures look super good when they are in gallery but when i share them (to another S24 Ultra) they look very poor, the picture quality drops and appears like i used 5MP camera. What could be the problem please.

How are you sharing the pictures?

For example, WhatsApp reduces the quality of pics generally.
MMS can also be set to reduce resolution.

Yes, i have sent using WhatsApp, Bluetooth and Share it, the result is the same. Even if i post on facebook and Instagram the quality gets poor.

That sounds like some degradation on transit. Have you tried Quick share between the two S24 Ultra?

Another test you could do, get a USB drive, copy the photos from the phone to the drive and transfer them into the other S24 Ultra. Check that the Gallery app have the same settings on both phones. It could be some artifacts from the Gallery app. If using the USB drive, then you could also see the pictures on a computer to give you a clear indication if the problem is in the picture or the application showing the picture.

Social media websites will tend to degrade the quality of the picture in the upload process.
