Samsung should change the name of its flagship from Galaxy S24 Ultra to Galaxy S24 Stutters.

Look at how scrolling in Spotify is terrible. It's not just Spotify; it basically stutters on every app.

What a terrible phone.

Please, my friend, don't recommend that I slow down animations from the developer options, disable RAM Plus, reset settings, or wipe the cache. I've done all of that, and none of it worked. Finally, I did a factory reset, and here I am still facing stutters and lags.

My phone is on One UI 6.1 with the December security patch

Hi @Members_Hcv8AIA 👋

I can appreciate your viewpoint on this situation.

I used to see stutters and frame drops in the x app but this has gone.

The rest of my apps behave.

Maybe send this as feedback directly to Samsung via your Samsung Members App too for samsung to analyse.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I get some stutters in certain apps but that could be down to the app not the phone. Some apps that are loaded with graphics tend to stutter as a the content is downloaded on the fly.

I have reported my issue to them through members four times so far, and each time they have sent me the same repetitive response. One of the experts mentioned that this issue might be caused by the memory card.

It’s truly laughable.

S24ULTRA and Memory card 😅😅

So i give up

hmmm.. can't say as I have the same issue.. mine works fine... but I use developer options and set it to 0.5 on the animations so maybe that is it?   I am current on updates as well and also not yet on ui7

I have the S24+ 256g OneUI 6.1.

Ram Plus on at 8g

I have had problems from day one with this pile of garbage. The S24 series imo is the absolute worst Galaxy series yet. I had the S20FE, and that phone was like a dream, never stuttered, no lagging, no freezing just smooth continuous operation, even with 6 or 7 or more apps open and switching between them.

I could set the auto restart for a certain time and it completed it the task perfectly. This 24+ i have auto restart enabled but it only has completed the task about 3 times.

If anyone is considering buying any of the S24 Galaxy series phones I would recommend saving your money. The memory is not expandable which locks you into limitations and purchases.

The sim is not accessable etc etc etc.

Stay clear of the S24 series and probably the S23 series as well, since they share the same non expandable memory/sim characteristics.

Im going to turn off the ram plus and see if the heaviest game will run or not.

PS i will update the effects of this action later.

S24+ = 💩

to continue from my previous post,

i have turned off the ram plus that was on at 8gb, i immediately noticed an improvement. I also saw improvement in gaming, even the game with heavy graphics etc was faster. imo Ram Plus is nothing more than a burden on the entire system, i see no benefit whatsoever, all it has done is hinder my phones ability and not help. that may be the intended purpose for it, developers love to do things to make you think it is improved (especially when changing the layout/interface of app and programs through updates) however, in my 40 plus years in computers/tech i have rarely ever seen any updates and/or changes that have been made by developers that have been beneficial, more often than not they create problems that they just continually have to patch/update to fix the problem they created whicg never gets fixed the isdues are always just pushed out of one area only to create issues elsewhere.

hope some of this helps.

it is apparent to me that Samsung is doing the same thing that most every company is doing at this point giving you less for more money taking away quality and replacing it with the cheapest possible options available making you pay for it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. As I mentioned at the beginning of the discussion, I have tried all of these methods and even disabled RAM Plus, but the issue still persists. I believe the problem might be related to the LTPO display system because on phones that don't have this type of display, apps scroll much more smoothly.
