Samsung should change the name of its flagship from Galaxy S24 Ultra to Galaxy S24 Stutters.

Look at how scrolling in Spotify is terrible. It's not just Spotify; it basically stutters on every app.

What a terrible phone.

Please, my friend, don't recommend that I slow down animations from the developer options, disable RAM Plus, reset settings, or wipe the cache. I've done all of that, and none of it worked. Finally, I did a factory reset, and here I am still facing stutters and lags.

My phone is on One UI 6.1 with the December security patch

Hello

I have S24 Ultra, and I have the same problem with shutters and scrolling lags on some apps like Spotify, Facebook, sometimes some websites on Samsung Internet or Brave browser etc. 

For example, some playlist scrolling in Spotify is lagging, but another one not.

Also, sometimes on Facebook I can't zoom in photos but, just immediately when I tap on photo it gets just 1% bigger and then back to normal and my back gesture is not working from first try but I need to swipe back several times to actually go back.

I already turned off RAM plus, cleared Cache in Android system, tried to use Standard and Light performance profile but, nothing is changing.

I am running UI 6.1 December Update.

This is my first Ultra phone and I didn't expect to have this issues with flagship device especially because I had S21 before this and it didn't have that much lagging issues. 

Is it only problem with applications itself or there is some others issues related to phone/android system?

Hi

These lag and stutter issues are due to software not optimized for Android phones. My phone improved slightly after the January update, but I still experience lag on Twitter, Spotify, and other apps.

Yes well here I am back again because it only helped momentarily to turn off the ram plus. this thing is total garbage. it stutters and freezes just while navigating on the phone using built in apps from samsung. had tech do a remote service and it is now worse. This S24+ is total garbage. wish i still had my S20FE5G, never had issues with that. Unfortunately the problem lies with the manufacturer. Just like it is with Facebook and other apps and communities Samsung wants to always one up something and change something and try to improve it but the change rarely is ever an improvement in fact what actually happens is they try to change something thinking they're going to improve it and it creates more problems so they have to create more things and do more work and therefore have to keep changing and it's just an ongoing never-ending problem that will never get solved that's the real issue
