Overheating after new software update

Hi,

I recently updated my Samsung S24, and since then, I've been experiencing overheating issues. I've taken the following steps to try and fix it:

• Performed a soft reboot

• Cleared the cache partition

• Used app optimisation

After doing this, the phone works fine with apps  like YouTube and TikTok. However, it still overheats significantly within 2–3 minutes when using Instagram or playing games.

I'd really appreciate any help or advice on how to fix this.

My phone turned to a boiling kettle after latest update ( UI 7) 

What's wrong with Samsung? Why there's always an issue with their updates

If your device is overheating to the level you're suggesting, you will almost certainly have a rogue app or apps that are using a lot of battery.

Need to check your apps

There are millions of apps out there and users expect manufacturers to ensure their devices work with every single one of them and if they don't, it must be the manufacturers fault.

Looks like normal usage. If you click on the point on the graph it will list what caused increase in the temp

Every single point is instagram....whenever I open instagran after the update it just overheats

Have you checked which apps causes your phone to overheat? Have you tried checking that all of your apps are up to date

Like after I open instagram within 2 to 3 minutes it overheats alot
