S24 ultra has no USB functionality since UI 7 update

Tried cache clearing
Waiting for a new security patch 
Dev settings changing usb behaviour 
Wiping all settings
Factory reset phone.
Tried safe mode

Unable to charge or see a usb connection at all.

Its not a hardware issue, confirmed by installing a new charging port, this is software only.

That was the point of swapping it out lol, didn't work on the old one and doesnt work on a genuine new one. So rules hardware out.

Wrong. Read the rest of the forum posts citing the exact same issue dude. If you're not helping you're free to leave.

Ive ruled hardware out and done every troubleshoot samsung recommended, and other people on this forum have the same issue ranging from no communication, to false moisture warnings to disabled fast charge capability.

It is a sw fault as clear as day.

Who replaced the port. Who tested it. Samsung tech?

If you've done a factory data reset and the charging port / usb-c port still isn't working, then there is an issue with hardware further up the line.

Suggest it goes back to Samsung Tech to investigate as should still be under warranty.

Weirdly if you force it into safe mode the prompt appears saying usb connected momentarily. Bare in mind this has been charged using a cable daily, and only failed post ui7 update. As in literally when I updated my wife's phone, I could charge before the update, and now I can't. Refer to the other posts on here also citing this as a software issue and having been reported by samsung as such. Idk why everyone is jumping on this being a hardware fault when it only failed post update 😂

If it were software, we would all be having the same issue so it is either an app conflict on your device or hardware.

After you did your factory data reset, did you reinstall apps from Smartswitch / back up or from scratch?

Yeah I thought conflict initially but safe mode would rule that out, plus the entire factory reset would sort that also.

Sw wise not necessarily, as a colleague of mine has the same phone and doesnt have this issue yet other owners on this forum and online are seeing these faults meaning its wider than just this phone and it's linked to the ui 7 update as its the only change causing loss of functionality.

I did a complete back up and restored from there, but again, if I can put it into safe mode and get comms on the port for a split second before it goes off again, and its not linked to the angle of the cable, how far its inserted, the type of cable the type of charger, if I can do this without moving the cable, it proves the phone sees the cable then decides for whatever reason to ignore it from then onwards
