i have tried the safe mode as you said, unfortunately the same problem insisted, i watch anything on youtube and the refresh rate drops down to 60 or 30 depending on the video for some reason but soon as i press and hold the screen, it stays at a smooth 120hz, if i dont touch and keep my finger on the screen the refresh rate will kinda stutter between 30 and 60 and it is very annoying, ill try clearing the cache soon and get back to you but i doubt it will do anything

Hi.

After updates the phone can seem sluggish for a while but should be back to normal within a few minutes.

Make sure to keep checking for app updates in both Samsung and google stores.

Also a simple phone restart can do wonders as well.

Hi not sure you know about this.

Most streaming apps will default to 60htz or as low as 45 htz.

I believe this is to save battery among other things.

The 120htz is mostly for scrolling and stuff and as you noticed will only activate on touching the screen.

If your phone was constantly on 120htz refreshing you'd be here complaining about battery life 😊

I believe it's a standard across all phones atleast in terms of streaming apps
