100% agree - the vivid mode is not working at all i.e. it is the same as the natural mode. I can really see the difference when I compare my new U to my S22 U side by side with same settings on. Nothing to do with anti-glare screen - it's a bug.
We need a quick fix to rectify this - Samsung please listen.
I have reported this - everyone should do the same.

I can confirm that the 'Vivid' screen mode on the S24 Ultra is not currently working as intended. I have compared both screens side by side and the S24 Ultra in 'Vivid' screen mode looks nearly identical to the S21 Ultra in 'Natural' mode.
Changing the S24 Ultra between 'Natural' or 'Vivid' screen mode makes nearly no difference at all.
Hopefully Samsung will address this issue with a software update as I much prefer the 'Vivid' screen mode on my S21 Ultra.

This is my understanding too; that it's a software issue and hopefully they can patch it

Hey, same here, the s24 ultra screen is not even coming close to my s22 ultra.
It's quite disappointing given the display was advertised as a big deal with 2600nits of contrast.
I am really having 2nd thoughts on buying the s24 ultra... I'm actually considering returning it.

Hi guys.
Just a quick post to say that I've merged several threads covering the same topic here.

i'm in the same boat, my s22 ultra look 10x better than this s24 ultra bein washed out on vivid color. i'm really thinking it's software related i'm on the edge to also make a return and keep my s22 ultra .
