My first glimpse at the S24 ultra in store

I didn't do the pre-release for the S24U... but I have just been into the Currys retail store in my location and spent a while playing with the S24U... this was my first time seeing the new ultra hardware... wow ! 

You lucky people that already own one of these bad boys ! 😍

The flat screen is great... I didn't really see the washed out colour issues during my 10 minutes of playing with it in store, but perhaps if i used it for video playback or more tasks that might become apparent. To be honest I was quite impressed with the updates. 

I also tried out the circle to search AI feature that worked well... looking forward to this finding its way to the s23U in due course. 

I will be looking out for the samsung upgrade deals around mid-year during the summer to trade and upgrade to the S24U.

It is a really good phone. Like you, I like the hardware changes.
Despite what some are experiencing. The screen on mine looks brilliant. Outside in bright light. The screen gets really bright and I noticed the colours get boosted as well.

People keep complaining about the screen, but in my opinion, or at least on my S24 Ultra, it looks completely fine. I don't see any issues at all

I think people are within their right to complain and especially when it is such an expensive phone. Obviously it is usual to find forums are always slightly negative, as more people post when they have a problem and are less likely to use a forum when they are happy.

Personally I couldn't see the colour issue. But where a large number of complaints are received, I am sure samsung don't want to upset all their regular customers.

Probably the most accurate statement I've seen in months. I did pre-order and received mine on launch day.

I totally agree with @Glenntech, the screen really is something else especially in WQHD+ mode.

I'm not convinced that the zoom is as good as promised mind. Will be interesting to see the software updates on this.

The flat screen and boxy design takes me back to the Note Series days ~ Love it 👌

I use the A.I circle to search regularly. 

I also use the A.I option in messages to change the style i.e to casual 😎 

These are truly powerful innovative phone's indeed.
