Before every major software update, I make a practice of undoing all personalization and returning my phone to default settings (themes, font, keyboard, etc.). I did this with both the S24 ultra and the S21 ultra. But since the S21 ultra is no longer my daily phone, I put an old Samsung theme from 2020 back on it. They didn't even say that it wasn't compatible and I still have it in My Staff. But when I applied the theme, the phone started to twitch, it took 2 minutes for the theme to load, the wallpaper was larger than before, selecting any item didn't go smoothly, I could barely get back to My Staff and click Apply default theme. After returning to the default theme, the system was fluid again.
