Fingerprint sensor issues

Has anyone struggled or had issues with fingerprint sensor on s24 ultra. I keep on having issues, says unable to read. Put on sensor again and keeps on locking me out.

I disable animation, and fingerprint unlock is more reliable. Anyone please give it a try and provide feedback. Thanks all.

In Settings search for Diagnostics and if look a little further, you'll see the Fingerprint recognition test.

You can repeatedly test your sensor and perhaps even learn if you're using your finger correctly.

If the sensor test works fine, the problem might just be with the particular program and not with your phone, per se.

Samsung S24 ultra biometrics are pants compared to Apple, it's terrible, not even a 1 out of 10.
My new t phone will not be a Samsung.

Cmon. I've had an s20 fe 4 years with a screen protector on and no finger print issue. This just doesn't work as well on the s24 for me, so far

I have had several Samsung galaxy s series phones I currently using an s22 plus. On every single one of them the in display fingerprint sensors are abysmal, they suck big time. I will not be buying another Samsung phone. The downside is it always a problem when I try to use my Google pay for example. Google pay will not allow me to work from face unlock I have to use fingerprint unlock, and of course it hardly ever works, Samsung have been made aware of this problem time and time again and I failed to rectify it or improve it. I will get an iPhone where face unlock is enough to be able to use all the secure facilities such as payment methods. I think it is abysmal that Samsung continue with this ridiculous technology that does not work

You are right , I think it's due to the latest software update .
