Dear all
A few days ago, I bought an S24 Ultra.
In general, after transferring the data from my old phone, everything works correctly.
However, what I can’t get to work is the fingerprint recognition.
It works if I don’t use a screen protector, but I’ve tried three different ones, and the results haven’t been good:
First, I used the JETech Full Coverage Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G 6.8 Inches, Tempered Glass with Easy Installation Frame, HD Clear—a similar type of glass to what I’ve used on other phones. Result: It does NOT work, even after changing the sensor resolution.
Then, I tried the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, 2 Units, Easy Installation, High Definition, 9H Hardness. Even though it says it’s specially designed for the S24 Ultra, it ALSO does not work.
It recognizes normal touches without any problem, but NOT fingerprint recognition.
I also tried the KoasVonson Matte Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, 2 Pieces, Hydrogel Anti-Glare TPU Flexible Film, Fingerprints, Anti-Glare [Not Tempered Glass]. It works somewhat, but I’m concerned that it might not sufficiently protect the screen.
What’s going on with the S24 Ultra’s fingerprint sensor? I thought the technology had been improved, but the result is that it only works without a screen protector.
What screen protector can I use?

Did you try redoing the fingerprints after changing screen protector? I never had any issues with Samsung ones
