When my phone gets scratched, will Samsung replace it? - S22 Ultra

I purchased a S22 Ultra (inherited some money, my last Samsung flagship phone was great but well overdue for replacement) and knew that I needed to get a screen protector and case because accidents happen.

The Case and Screen protector were due to arrive well before the phone (25th March) but I got an email stating it has been delayed and by contacting Samsung support, I was advised it would arrive today (8th April).

I was lucky and my phone arrived a week early (1st April) but this left me with a dilema, how can I keep my phone safe until the screen protector and case arrive?

Today (8th April) I recieved another email stating the screen protector have been delayed again. I contacted Samsung who advised this would be another two weeks (22nd April).

With this additional delay I have a choice of either purchasing a screen protector and case from an alternate source or risk having over £1000 worth of electronics get cosmetic damage.

I specifically asked about compensation for out of pocket expenses incured due to these shipping delays and the agent immediately closed the chat window. If there was a response, even a outright no, at least I'd know where I'd stand.

Anyways, this is just a little tale... from the poor quality of care Samsung has shown me, I suspect they will laugh in my face if I try to ask for a replacement due to cosmetic damage.

Definitely don't go out using it without any protection.
There are plenty of cheap aftermarket accessories available for it.
I'm using the Tauri screen protector with the Ringke Onxy case.
The case is really protective with lots of grip and the screen protector is a bit of a fiddle to put on.
But works great with the phone

Telephone support says wait until my order is delivered before anything can possibly happen. So I'll wait with my fingers crossed for a fortnight.

Try getting a cheaper screen protector for now off amazon until the new one comes that's what I would do or get a case most cases come with a free screen Protector

I went out and got a gel case and screen protector from Currys. As much as I want the led case I ordered with the phone at a decent discount, I need protection. I'm just really annoyed about having to spend an extra £40 or so because of delivery problems.
