So I've just received my S22U and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Whilst the design is amazing, it is slow as F***. Coming from an S21U as part of the upgrade program, as I change my phone every year (why not eh!?), its a downgrade in terms of performance and issues. Whilst the S21U had its issues when I got it, it wasn't this bad.

The S22U is on par with the S20U which was a nightmare.

I accept some of these issues will likely be addressed in a software / firmware update, I do not accept that a phone should be in this poor state on release and samsung can do better. And if the S20U is anything to go by, some issues will likely never be resolved until the S23U is released.

Duly returned for a refund.

Got to be honest. Not noticed any issues so far with speed or anything. I actually thought it was a lot smoother than my s21u. I'm also on the yearly upgrade since my s10 plus. I'm not a 'power user' though. Just use it for day to day personal and work stuff. Mainly Microsoft ecosystem. Not come across anything yet.

We can see for sure there's alot to be improved and the gap in GPU performance is really big but In my case that won't matter since I don't use the phone for gaming but for work but still is freaking annoying to pay for something that is subpair compared with the Snapdragon.
Still the thing that annoys most tough is that it seems this CPU consumes battery like if there wasn't tomorrow... I'm giving it a few days for things to stabilise but still...
I had an Oppo Find X2 and decided to come to Samsung because I was fed up of Chinese phones and their lack of support, but phone wise it worked well. I hope I don't regret it tough

Similar to my experience so far too. UK edition, with exynos chip.

S22 ultra, coming from a OnePlus 9 Pro (last year's model).

The S22 Ultra feels slower so far. Even seeing worse performance in games than the oneplus.

It's been a fairly disappointing experience so far. Minor scratches on the screen already (first one was after about 2 hours use and it had only ever been in my pocket or on the desk face up). Currently has more minor scratches than my old phone did after a year of use. Almost like it's made of plastic.

While I respect people's opinions in regards to their own personal experience with their Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra mine is performing well.

I even opened up the developers option to look at the refresh rate after reading a discussion that the person's was stuck on 120hz. Mine does change as it should.

I've got 21 days to make a final decision but up to press I've had no problems.

I've enabled that, because I was seeing a lower FPS in games than I was on my previous gen phone (with a snapdragon 888).
I was getting 120hz on the games, but fps was low 90s, whereas last year's gen was hitting the 120fps.

I was surprised to see the Always-On-Display is running at 60hz, which seems really unnecessary. It sometimes drops to 24hz, but is mostly at 60hz.

Yes mine drops to 24hz too @ryamoo

I can't comment on games as I don't play them on my phone.

Possibly, it appears its not been a pleasant experience for a number of people.. it is likely a lot of issues will be resolved via software updates.
