There something I have found out after purchasing the Samsung galaxy a55 from curry's I have also been using it for 2 days without any problem (keep in mind I didn't damaged it or anything)

I was further on inspecting the device when I noticed a small gap in-between the corner of both ends and I was quite alarmed as both of the top end of the phone didn't have this noticeable gap

I was quite intrigued in this and was also

quite concerned as I wanted to know if it's acc normal for devices to have this as I was considering to give it back as I still have the warrenty

Only the one on the last pic is the only one that doesn't have an exposed gap whereas the rest of the 3 does

Btw here's a clear pic for those who couldn depic the photo:)

This small cracks with in both ends of the bottom device so I wanna know if it's normal
Other than that the phone still work smoothly but the small cracks kinda triggers me abit

Hello

As I mentioned gap I also did some testing alongside e.g placing papers in-between them in 4 sides of the curve surprisingly all 4 papers fit in the curve. However the gap I taken picture of seem to fit more than one paper in so my conclusion that this gap is slightly bigger than the rest and also is prone from water and could lack on ip67 I just wondering if you could have any information alongside with this

And yes I did contact Samsung support but they didn't seem to reach out on me so I am still waiting patiently and also did allot of research to determine if this is normal regardless of it's lack of display

@sub1634: While it is difficult to make out the issue you're describing in your photo, I can confirm that there should not be a gap at the point where the screen and bezel meet. If the phone is only 2 days old, then you may wish to try reaching out to the seller directly to discuss your options regarding a refund or replacement. Alternatively, please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and get in touch via phone or Live Chat for further support.

But in some information I looked at they say it's used for heat dissipation and other purposes there is gap on all 4 sides but the one that am viewing seems to be odd and also abit visible as the rest kinda seems invisible I was also wondering if that's abnormal despite your recommendation is repairing or giving the phone back but I just wanted to validate if the gaps is therefore heat or isn't it not supposed to be there in the first place? Cause I was quite shocked when I made this discovery of my galaxy a55

Am quite upset there is a small gap whereas the other seemed to be well hidden as I use paper to slide in the gap on all 4 side it went in but I had to use force but the gap that am referring to fit 2 papers is that normal

Cause I was also considering using a screen protector to seal in any gaps that can occur which can prevent water or dust for seeping

Quite sad how Samsung didn't really made notice of this and also lacks on ip67

But thanks for Ur recommendation but if you can read this if you can come back to this msg I want to know what to do overall. Other than giving it back which I might be considering to do so for repariment.

Thank you

@sub1634: The Galaxy A55 has an integrated cooling system, however this does not account for the gap in the bottom right corner of the device. If you take a look at the images on our website, you should notice that the point where the screen/back border meets the bezel is seamless, which suggests that the issue that you're describing is a defect.

Heres an update on how all 3 side has gaps in-between
(Just showing the clear picture as am aware that the previouse picture taken isn't clear enough)

The 1 and 2nd one is the the same end

And btw it's not the light reflecting from it to be sure

Also help my by commenting to see if this is bad as manufacturing defectsSnapchat-495773189_1000000348_1722549618.jpgSnapchat-1976653616_1000000347_1722549618.jpgSnapchat-148173077_1000000346_1722549618.jpgSnapchat-1864945097_1000000349_1722549618.jpg
