There something I have found out after purchasing the Samsung galaxy a55 from curry's I have also been using it for 2 days without any problem (keep in mind I didn't damaged it or anything)

I was further on inspecting the device when I noticed a small gap in-between the corner of both ends and I was quite alarmed as both of the top end of the phone didn't have this noticeable gap

I was quite intrigued in this and was also

quite concerned as I wanted to know if it's acc normal for devices to have this as I was considering to give it back as I still have the warrenty

Only the one on the last pic is the only one that doesn't have an exposed gap whereas the rest of the 3 does

Btw here's a clear pic for those who couldn depic the photo:)

This small cracks with in both ends of the bottom device so I wanna know if it's normal
Other than that the phone still work smoothly but the small cracks kinda triggers me abit

Hi @sub1634

As your concerned then if you can first visit a Samsung Experience Store ,or Highstreet Network Store that has this phone on display to inspect another phone to see if it presents the same, and if it does not have this then speak with the merchant Curry's about a swap.

Have a look at their T&C's beforehand.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Define gap? Can you drive a bus through it? I'm in no position to evaluate the state of your phone. My opinion is irrelevant. My 'advice' is to get it checked by a professional.

Your Galaxy A55 5G is rated as IP67, which means it's sealed against water ingress. Therefore, any 'gaps' will render it useless, wouldn't it. You're wasting valuable time posting here...get it checked!

@sub1634: While it is difficult to make out the issue you're describing in your photo, I can confirm that there should not be a gap at the point where the screen and bezel meet. If the phone is only 2 days old, then you may wish to try reaching out to the seller directly to discuss your options regarding a refund or replacement. Alternatively, please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and get in touch via phone or Live Chat for further support.

@sub1634: The Galaxy A55 has an integrated cooling system, however this does not account for the gap in the bottom right corner of the device. If you take a look at the images on our website, you should notice that the point where the screen/back border meets the bezel is seamless, which suggests that the issue that you're describing is a defect.

Unfortunately, your image is just too fuzzy to determine what that is. Try zooming out a bit.
Anyhow, as @BandOfBrothers has advised, if you're concerned, then return the phone back to Curry's and have them look at it.

Hi there! sorry to hear your having issues with your new device:( While this may be frustrating i highly recommend doing the steps mentioned above, Even contact samsung support themselves and they'll give you a list of stores in your area. When you say a "Gap" do you mean like you can physically put something in between it (like a bit of kitchen roll etc)
Hope this helps🫰
