My phone starts fine and then operates normally, but after a few minutes use the screen becomes unresponsive to touch/swipe etc. Only solution is to keep forcing a restart so I can use for a short while.
I've tried starting in Safe mode and the have the same issue.
The screen must be ok as it works for a while, but why does it suddenly become unresponsive?
Any help appreciated

As I saw, it seems that flat cable is the problem with this model. I am facing the same problem as a lot of people. Some of the forums are filled with reports about the A72 screen.

Europian users also have the same problem.

I thought this problem only happened with asian market versions of the A72

It's everywhere. I told you my mom in canada said people there doesn't want a72 series bcoz of this reported issue. It seems samsung doesn't even care. They already earned money. That is all that matters

It's not only a A72 problem
Other samsung models have the same issue
I don't know if it's bad hardware or something else

Tried all these apart from factory reset but still having issues. I think we should start a thread of this on twitter. Maybe then samsung would provide solution. #a72ScreenIssues

I replaced by myself the main flat cable six days ago, and my phone is working without any issues so far. I bought a new original cable for around 12 euros. So, this is definitely Samsung's fault, considering that more and more users are reporting the same problem. I must say that my phone has been still under warranty, and it didn't fall or something like that, but unfortunately, can't use the warranty, because I moved recently to another country.
