Samsung Watch 4 Classic Burning My Wrist

I just got the new Samsung Galaxy 4 Classic. I have had it a little over a week now. My issue is it is putting a burn mark on my wrist where the sensor touches. I have my watch monitor all day to monitor my activity, heart rate, stress etc...

After a few days, my wrist started burning. (Please see the attached photos) I took the watch off for a few days and put on some coconut oil, and Epsom salt and it started to heal. What's left is a perfect circle that matches the very inner circle of the sensor.

This is very concerning to me as I wear normal watches every day and this does not happen. This seems like a laser issue with monitoring.

Hello, The same just has happen to me as well. I used to wear active galaxy watch, and I've got Galaxy Watch 4 this Christmas, and my skin started to itch and is all red, right where the inner circle is. My wrist looks just like these pictures.

I have got burns on my wrists from the laser part of my wearable Samsung watch. I have had this 15 months and the problem has existed for that time. I have photos over this time as well. The latest burn is the most serious one yet. Please advise.20230104_110427_1000001571_1672830269.jpg20230104_110416_1000001570_1672830259.jpg

I have received the same burns and lesions from my Watch 5Pro.  Both burns have hard bumps under them.

@DennisMD I'd absolutely recommend dropping @Sam_UK a DM, if you are based in the UK or Ireland. Samsung do treat cases like this seriously so myself or another moderator can look to escalate this internally for you!

You can view the Community guide on how to send a DM here > https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/samsung-lounge/how-to-send-a-private-message-on-the-samsung-comm...
