Phone not ringing

I have a Samsung watch 6 classic and a Samsung s9plus phone. Watch is installed on phone. I want watch to vibrate and phone to ring when receiving incoming calls. Watch is vibrating but phone not ringing. Help!

Welcome to the Forum.

Sounds to me like you have your device (phone) on silent as well??

Swipe down from the top of the screen to open your settings draw, change sounds setting from mute or vibrate to sound and that should hopefully fix this for you.

My a42 phone will not ring when my watch is on. The watch rings and vibrates. I WANT THE PHONE TO RING. I have checked and the phone is not muted, or on do not disturb. The mute phone setting on the wearable options for thewatch is off. Is this a software problem? Please advise. Again I want the phone to ring when I get a call. Too hard for Samsung engineers?

We have to trick the system. 

1- Go to wearable app on your phone

2- Go to watch setting

3- Go to notifications

4- Hit on "Sync Do not disturb with phone" 

5- Go to "phone Do not disturb setting"

6- Make "Do not disturb" On

                - go to " Allowed during Do no disturb" section

                - go to calls and messages >>> calls : allow all

7- on the watch: go to setting>> sounds and vibrate >> hit vibrate.
