Hi,
Got my Galaxy Watch5 Pro today. Just setting it up and trying to add cards to my Google Wallet.
I'm in the process of changing banks, so have multiple cards.
I have tried Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit & MasterCard Credit (don't currently have a Visa Credit to try).
None of them can be added. I just keep getting "This phone can't be set up for contactless payments" when I attempt to add a card.
One of the things I loved about my Watch4 Classic was the use of Google Pay/Wallet. I may have to return this and keep the Watch4 Classic. The only reason to change was the larger battery life.
I'm in Ireland (if that makes a difference).
Does anyone know why this is happening or have a solution?

hello am based in ireland, have S22 and a watch 5 pro , have tried several times and cannot sync a card to my watch. message keeps saying this phone cant be set up for contactless.. surely this is a software issue. is there an update or fix for this??

No fix yet. Google are aware also.
Seems to be a Google Wallet issue.

Fold4+GW5 Pro, UK, MasterCard. Everything works perfectly. Bank card added in 30 seconds...

Still no update in Ireland. Still can't add any cards.
Seems like we are the forgotten customers as the country is so small.

Another post about Google Wallet not working on my Galaxy Watch 5. It works great on my S 22 Ultra but not the watch. Ive delete Google Wallet on my watch added and removed cards. Spoke to my bank twice and ind infmed it is not showing any errors on the banking side of the App. Followed every link on here. Still not working. PLEASE SAMSUNG or some advise as this issue is becoming very frustrating.
