Galaxy Watch 5 - Could not add my Google account

I tried many times to add my Google account to my Galaxy Watch 5 which I got a few days ago. I kept getting the message "Couldn't Copy Your Google Accounts". I reset my watch and reinstalled the Wearable Galaxy app multiple times. The problem persisted. I followed some suggestions on the internet of removing the 2-step protection and removing my Google Account. No LUCK. This is extremely frustrating. I tried reaching out to SAMSUNG, but they never responded to my requests.

I have the exact same problem you described.  Does anyone know how to solve this?  The watch won't be useful to me without my Gmail account.

Hi i just got the watch 5 and have the same adding gmail issue

I cant add my gmail account on watch 5 

It take a few seconds to signing in and then it disappered every time i tried

Galaxy watch Pro 5. Cannot add Google account. Really limits the functionality of the phone. Very frustrating.

Yep same problem, Trying to transfer phones and it says it needs a google account, But won't let me add said google account. Why you can't add it manually I don't know. Samsung want to control everything but can't manage to get even the basics right
