I bought a pair of Galaxy Earbuds Pro 2 at Costco and have only worn them a few times.  Every time I've worn them I get serious ear irritation. I tried cleaning them and my ear. I wore them one more time and now my ear is swollen and I'm headed to the doctor today. Am I the only one who has experienced this problem? I woke up in the middle of the night this morning with ear pain and throbbing.

Hi @Bryan_in_UT  Sorry to hear this.  A few Members have experienced ear irritation from Ear Buds.   Have you not had much ear trouble previously?

I suggest you contact the Team Account  @Sam_UK for further advice and one of The Moderators will respond.  If  by any chance you are unsure how to do this a guide is attached here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/samsung-lounge/how-to-send-a-private-message-on-the-samsung-comm...

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

They do that to me as well. I have been OK with Galaxy Buds Live and Sony WF-1000XM5.

I have the same problem as you with ear inflammation after wearing Buds 2 Pro. I've worn to B&O before and had no complaints. Buds 2 Pro causes terrible itching and redness after about 1 hour of wear. I wonder if the new Buds 3 Pro have the same problem because I want to order them and don't want to be disappointed again.

There was a class action lawsuit over the issue. Do not let anyone tell you it is due to personal hygiene. This is a well documented issue.

Sadly had the same issue. 1st with the buds pro 1st generation. 2nd with buds 2 ( non pro). Sadly not in the EU union so i can only gift them to some one and hope they don't have the same irritation.

As mentioned previously by , i am hoping the 3rd generation will fix the issue.

I am really satisfied with the quality of the sound and build, but its no good if u cant use them.

Thanks s-pen_user for pointing out, I was told to:" Dry my ears out"

Hi All,

I have the same issue with buds 2 pro. I bought it in the start of this year and each time I use it for any ear, i got ear infection. I tried cleaning it but the same issue. I used sony and no problems with them.

Currently, I don't use both of them at the same time in order not to affect my both ears.

Any advise?

I will appreciate your kind help and support.

Regards
