Hello everyone!

Roughly half year ago, I have bought SAMSUNG 55AU7100 TV from local vendor. I have warranty for a year. A week ago, when I unplugged USB cable of my HDD from TV, part of USB port is broken. Local Service Center is considering this as out of warranty. However, there have been no misuse of TV and USB cable was unplugged casually. Could you please tell me is this really out of scope of warranty?

I would agree with your local Service Centre. Even though you've a 1 year warranty. Samsung, or indeed any manufacturer, would consider that physical damage caused by mishandling. In other words, not pulling a plug out in a straight line.
