imported from another country.

You know which country it was imported from? Usually you can change it like let's say I'm in UK and want to move to US so I just change for some reason there's no such option for you. Have you updated software on your tv etc? You can change location with VPN installed

We purchased TVs in Europe for our company and have this problem. I'll ask my colleagues where they ordered them. This is are branding new. They are fully packed and with all the documents and do not have the required region. I am generally not sure  if SmartHub are even available in Ukraine.

I haven't updated anything for my region. Is it possible to do this by downloading the official firmware OR should i do it at authorized dealers?

You should always seek help from authorised samsung services, or the ones who sold tv.

Of course. It's very problematic to have feedback from them.
Why can't I change the software version to my region? Or why don't I have the Local Set option in the service menu?

Hi, I am in the same exact situation... If you have any news on how to solve this, please let me know! I will do the same, I am already in touch with Samsung technical team in Greece where I purchased the tv.

Hi, after hours lost in trying to find a solution, I finally managed! I would suggest you getting a VPN (in my case, I use CyberGhost, and I have simply set the Smart DNS on a country compatible with the region where the tv was purchased - in my case Germany worked, and I suspect it would work for you too since your tv was also bought in Europe). Once you set the Smart DNS manually via the tv settings, the geo-block gets bypassed and you are able to set up your Samsung account, SmartHub and all smart features.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Nicolas
