Samsung UE50AU7110 50" UHD 4K TV LOWER RESOLUTION OPTION

Hi, I’ve just bought a Samsung UE50AU7110 50" UHD 4K HD TV, but need to alter the screen resolution (4k is too much for my slow internet to handle). Does anyone know how I can lower the resolution. I’ve tried accessing the Service Menu using: Power Off TV, then pressing: Mute + 1 + 8 + 2 + Power / plus a few other codes, but nothing seems to work on this model. Anyone got any ideas?  Many thanks, Chris

Have you tried power off . Info. Menu mute. Power on

A few options you could try with the proviso to be careful in this Menu if successful.

• Info + Menu + Mute + Power (most common combination that usually works)
• + + 1 8 2 + Power
• Display + P.STD + Mute + Power
• Sleep + P.STD + Mute + Power
• Display + Menu + Mute + Power
• Mute + 1 + 1 + 9

@Members_74Kw2WR: While your TV supports 4K, the outputted resolution will depend on the external device, app or content you are accessing, and this cannot be reduced or restricted in the TV settings. Can you provide further details or where exactly you would like to lower the resolution?
