Half the screen of my Samsung TV UA50AU8000KLXL purchased just 2 years back is flickering and the TV wont just turn on. It was working fine till the previous night but suddenly observed it when I tried switching on the next morning. Makes me really question the reliability of samsung product if there expensive TVs cant even last 2 years. Have used SOny TVs lasting almost 8-10 years without any problem. ANybody faced this or knows the resolution? ANy idea how much would it cost? Can it be the entire picture tube issues or just a PCB issue? Wondering if I'd just have to dump this TV if the cost is too high. Really disappointed having to face this.

Hi @Shivam Chugh welcome to the Samsung Community one video still to be approved but think I can offer advice based on similar issues.
Check that you have the latest firmware. Can you try a soft Reset by holding the power on the Smart Remote for around 5 seconds until the Samsung logo appears. does this make any difference? Are all connections a secure, you could try switching Tv off for a minute and reconnecting. is there any standby light, a flashing one would tend to indicate a more serious issue. if issue with external connections have you tried different ports ,are you able to try different HDMI cables? However if this is on all sources including Tv apps may not be so worthwhile.
can check more detail here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/my-tv-wont-turn-on/
If issues persist you may wish to contact Samsung Support as repair may be necessary, though depends if you view it to be viable. contact details here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/#product-support
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
